About this listen

After an unexpected breakup with her longtime girlfriend, Cate has been picking up the pieces and starting her new life as a tour guide for a travel company. Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Mexico is a time of celebration, spring break, Carnival, and the remembrance of Jesus entering Jerusalem. It is also Cate's last training under supervision before she officially goes out on her own. What could possibly go wrong with a group of nuns from Scotland who book a tour to San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico?

If The L Word and Sex and the City had a love child, Cate Hunter would be her name.

In this audiobook her heart is still mending and she struggles to gain her confidence back, but some things never change.

I thought it was fun

I think there is a lot of potential with this series. It definitely made me want to find out what happens next. Cate Hunter is likable. It will be fun to see how this all pans out for her.

Very enjoyable

Just like the first part of the series, this was very enjoyable to listen to. And the narrator is still very very good.

What a fun series

This is a fun series to listen to. Cate has some fun adventures and meets very interesting people. Nicole Luis offers a view into how Cate works through her break-up by running off to Ireland then becoming an international travel guide. Theses are great if you're looking for a short listen that is entertaining but fulfilling.

Your world sometimes is via rose colored glasses

Cate follows through on her idea of a Tourist Guide for a new occupation. She has finally reached her final assessment on the process of accreditation, and she is the lead guide on trip to Mexico.
Part of the backstory are the people she is acting as guide to, the other part, is her broken heart and what she is doing to overcome her lingering depression and loneliness.
Having been on a couple of guided tours, it's interesting to view things from their point of view.
