There is a competitive advantage out there, arguably more powerful than any other. Is it superior strategy? Faster innovation? Smarter employees? No, New York Times best-selling author, Patrick Lencioni, argues that the seminal difference between successful companies and mediocre ones has little to do with what they know and how smart they are and more to do with how healthy they are.

Several years ago, Sam Walker set out to answer one of the most hotly debated questions in sports: What are the greatest teams of all time? He devised a formula, then applied it to thousands of teams from leagues all over the world, from the NBA to the English Premier League to Olympic field hockey. When he was done, he had a list of the 16 most dominant teams in history. At that point he became obsessed with another, more complicated question: What did these freak teams have in common?

Great Lessons in History & Leadership
I really enjoyed the way the author brought into focus the lives of different men & women, then draws out their qualities (or lack thereof) in leadership to very specific defining actions.

struggled to finish
Struggled to finish, even though it shared great leadership principles. I did not connect with the stories about war. Also, the river blindness was so vividly medical it was hard to get through. Finally, the narrative & narration was very monotone.
