About this listen
Three gay couples run amuck in this short story where clothing, beds, even four walls are all optional!
Want to know what happened that night in the library?
Cirian and Rian had a fight in the library, and Rian ends up naked on the desk, on his back, at Cirian's mercy.
Want to know how far things went with ice cream?
A romantic evening by the fire feeding his husband ice cream leads to a lot more than heavy petting for Aiyan and Kaden.
Want to know what was going on when those birds fled?
Traveling hundreds of miles, battling the rebels and then traveling back to House Gaeland will take it out of you. But when Tanis wants something, he takes it. Raven is about to be bent over a tree!
A note from the author: I've taken three scenes from Opposites that were cut short and elaborated on the shenanigans that ensued. I also focused more in the beginning on the relationship between Cirian and Rian, to give listeners a chance to know them and their inner workings better.

Story
Dr. Anthony Smith, along with the few survivors of global warming, started society anew. Having come to the conclusion that injudicious breeding played a huge role in the destruction of Earth as we knew it in the 21st century, he worked closely with other survivors to isolate the Dionysus gene: the gene has the ability to manipulate human DNA to ensure that all male children be born gay, and all female children be born lesbians.

The name's Daniels, Jack Daniels - just like the whiskey you know. I'm a private detective. And I can't help butting my nose into other people's business. It's what I do. You get used to it. It becomes a way of life almost. After a while it comes natural to you, automatic, like breathing, or eating, although not quite as enjoyable. It's a habit that I just can't break. I just can't help it. But sometimes it can lead you into trouble....

An Irish mobster. A missing friend. Two loyalties, ripping me apart. I had a plan. Get in, get my information, and get out. Easy, right? Turns out, infiltrating the Irish mafia isn't exactly what I thought it would be. I just wanted a soldier. Someone I could flirt with to get me in the door. That's when Lachlan Crow noticed me. Problem was, he wasn't a soldier. No, he was next in line for the throne of the Irish underworld. And he was determined to hate me from the outset.

great companion to the series
Any additional comments?
I loved this in book form, and the audio was just as amazing.
Greg did a wonderful job capturing the feelings of all the characters, the mood of the minute.
This author knows how to really get us into story and hold us there.

4 Smutty Stars
I am no stranger to MM books, but this was not only my first by this author but it was a first MM audiobook. So T.M. Smith popped my cherry so to speak haha.
First let’s talk about narration, I loved it the accents and just the overall narration you don’t mix up the characters.
The story is well thought out I did feel like I was missing some things maybe because it’s a novella, and not the first book I don’t know but I do know I want more, more, more!
You feel the love between Rian and Cirian, they always had the connection so being matched was all Rian really wanted.
Aiyan and Kaden, Oh my god… All I can say is ice cream YES please!! These too are explosive but you feel the deep love and affection they have for themselves.
Raven and Tanis well now I think they might be my favorite couple as of yet, Tanis is very alpha oh baby yes, also public sexy time yes please. :)
Overall I enjoyed this audio I want more even with the confusion I need to know more about these characters and this world.

Really like this series
The beginning of this book is a little difficult to follow. The author had too many names that are similar so I would get lost on who was who & w/whom. But, the amazing Greg Boudreaux did help as he did a great job w/the different voices & accents. The first half didn't really have much of a plot, its Aiyan & Kanden jumping each other at every turn. And boy are they rough on the furniture, yes you will have to read it to understand what I mean. Also, I'm not sure exactly how old any of them are. Sometimes I get the feeling they are in their late teens and other times they appear to be full grown adults. I probably won't read the next books in the series, I will probably wait until they are out in audio as Mr. Boudreaux makes it easier to keep track of people.

Thanks for the ACX
Thank you for the audio ACX, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. This picks up with the scene in the library with all the couples. It's leads you down the short but steamy goodness of what happened. Even where Rian remembers how he found out he was chosen to the wedding day. Greg Boudreaux made this a wonderful listen of steam filled hotness

Hot & Sexy
This is a quick listen that expands on scenes from book one. I was really glad to get a glimpse of what Cirian and Rian are like behind closed doors, sooooo HOT! Aiyan and Kaden are as hot and sexy as ever. Tanis and Raven, wow, just WOW! You definitely need a fan for this one especially with the narrator's spectacular portrayal. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Interesting story and very touching
Have never listened to or read a book were the LGB community was to save the world after the destruction of the earth. I found it very touching and loving and did enjoy it till the end I hate when an author throws you off the cliff not knowing how the story ends. Nine time Ten I want purchase another eBook or audiobook from that author. Since I did enjoy the book went looking to see if there was more in Goodreads and Amazon and to be honest I could not find what I looking and resorted to going on Facebook and asking the author. It should not be that hard to find an authors books!
The narrator was excellent and the voice and manner of speech was perfect

Sexy fun for fans of the series
This is a not a standalone, as it is “missing scenes” or “expanded scenes” from TM Smith’s Opposites.
As such, fans of that story will really love this because it gives insight into the characters by showing us vignettes from their past and future. There is no real angst or any problems, but there is a lot of hot sex!
Greg Boudreaux does such an AMAZING job with this. There are all those delicious Scottish accents and Irish, too and he ROCKS THEM!
This was a fun and sexy listen and highly recommended to fans of the series. (It won’t make a whole lot of sense if you haven’t read Opposites, but you can mostly figure things out if you work at it.)

A series that definitely should be read in order!!
What didn’t you like about Greg Boudreaux’s performance?
much too fast, characters mostly sounded the same
Any additional comments?
I got a review audio copy of THE LIBRARY and without having read THE OPPOSITES beforehand all I can say whew, this was a hot and steamy novella!! Otherwise I believe I think I would have enjoyed the story so much more if I’d read the first book first. THE LIBRARY does not only deal with one couple, but with three! All of this placed in a sci-fi world where DNA has been manipulated to that homosexual relationships are the norm and an amorous relationship between a man and a woman is not only the rare exception but forbidden. Talk about much to take in and being completely overwhelmed.
Apart from that, which is basically my own fault (could have read the first book beforehand, right?), the throughout enjoyed all the characters and their stories and the world it is set in. I’m definitely thinking of taking a step back and reading book #1 now, because although sci-fi is a genre I barely visit, T.M. Smith definitely got me intrigued!
As for the narrating: I really felt like it was a bit too fast and, what was even worse, you could not really keep the characters apart, because they were all almost spoken the same.
Overall a 3* rating for me for the audio book: 4 stars for the story, 2 stars for the narration.

You will never think of Ice cream the same again
Have you ever read a book and wanted more from certain scenes or wondered if something delicious had been cut?
The Library is a lovely compilation of three scenes from a great story and let's us in behind the scenes and fills us in on some stuff we may have missed or wondered about. And I must say wow they are smoking hot. I will never think of ice-cream the same again.
I also loved how we got more insight on the Cirian and Rian (two of the fathers) I loved those two a lot and loved seeing how they met. I loved being let in on the memories and more details of the characters. This also helped me clear up a few questions I had with the previous stories.
I thought this was a unique treat to see behind the scenes. I also suggest you read(or listen to) this before Book 2 it does clarify a lot.
The audio version is amazing. I loved Greg Boudreaux. He made the characters all come to life in a way that I couldn't just reading it. The story is short and sexy so pop on so earplugs and enjoy! ( I highly suggest you don't listen without them if around anyone.)
If you love a good dystopian world, MM and FF romances, the story Opposites, hot man-sex and ice-cream this is for you.

Good Companion
This is a good companion to the book "The Opposites" and is one that really needs to be listened to after the first, as the characters in this novella/companion book are ones that are introduced in the previous book. This book is best described as HOT! Cirian and Rian in the library, Aiyan and Kaden by the fire! This is truly HOT and Greg Boudreaux did an amazing job with the narration! Can't wait for more!
