Homestadding in the uncanny valley

While this book had a lot of good basics and introduces a LOT of ideas, Emma seems to have a bottomless wallet and her applications of various technologies are unrealistically problem free. The narration is distracting with odd pauses, mispronounced words like homestadding, and a strange upbeat singsong cadence. I was doing ok until the book said that rabbits in your garden will eat slugs and snails, if your rabbits are doing that instead of eating your kale and carrot tops, you are in a zombie apocalypse, and need a more comprehensive guide.
