About this listen

Phoebe Alexis Courtland had a plan. As a paralegal studying for the bar, she decided while in Vegas for a conference she would let off some steam with her friends. When Phoebe wakes the last day of her weekend trip to Vegas, she finds one of the biggest princess cut wedding rings on her ring finger while lying on top of a naked chiseled-chest god. Phoebe remembers nothing of her drunken night of love and is determined to have the marriage annulled immediately. After Vegas, Phoebe is forced to go to her now husband Xavier's ranch to get him to sign the divorce papers. But, Xavier won't sign them without a fight. Xavier has a few tricks up his sleeve for his new bride. Will Phoebe be able to get her divorce?

Cute Insta Love Story

Phoebe wakes up married to Xavier while in Vegas. She has no recollection of their marriage and wakes up confused. The story started out cute but Phoebe got on my nerves. She was so up and down, wishy washy and it was super annoying. Either you want to stay married or you don't! It's really very simple. Xavier wasn't as bad as her and he more or less made the story for me. This was my first time reading anything by this author and it was a cute read. If you like insta love stories this will be perfect for you. The narrator did a good job on this story as well!

Phoebe and Xander rocked

I was able to get into this one right from the beginning. I enjoyed Phoebe's confusion and then her realization that what she had was something special but she didn't know who she was. So she had to figure that out in order to appreciate what she had been presentedwoth. I very much enjoyed Xander he allowed Phoebe to be Phoebe without the constraints that was placed upon her and made her feel so cut off and unfeeling. I really would like to know why his mom was still there after so much time. There felt like there was a story behind that. I can't really say it was a missed opportunity but it was something to draw out the story a little longer. I love their happiness that they got after spending so much time apart and her growing into herself.

The narrator did a good job. I could follow all the male voices the eby, the flow, the feeling, the passion, it was conviction there and I I appreciated it all. The journey she took me on was delighful.

good

I wish it went more into the sexual part of the store. It was not that believable about how in love they were from a first chance meeting. But it was a cute story.

A nice story but...

I liked the story but it is very emotionally manipulative and I felt like I was getting jerked around long with the groom. I think their is a line and this book crossed it several times and not in a good way. sidenote: I wish the male protagonists weren't all uber rich.

Story seemed fragmented

Phoenix Rayne is a new author to me. Dana Dae did a very good job with conveying emotions. The story started great and then became fragmented. It seemed to me that the author cut out some key things so the book was hard to follow. Phoebe seemed immature to me. I never did figure out how she lost her memory which was a key element of the book. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it.

This Chick

The woman was selfish and self-centered. He was so much in love with her and he gave her a trip around the world by herself.

Good

Pretty good. Phoebe ran a lot but it helped her learn what she really wanted. I would’ve like a long a story so we could had found out why she was the way she was. Also, would’ve like to learn more about Xavier.
Overall, it was pretty good and narration was good.
