History made digestible and interesting!
This audiobook covers aspects of the entire history of the US - from 15,000 BCE all the way to the present day. Split up into 12 Chapters across 6 parts, you're taken on a journey through the stories that make up the foundation of what the United States is today.
The choice of narrator also perfectly fits the theme of the book. It is as if you are learning directly from an American historian.
Overall a great audiobook for those who are wanting to pass the time in a car ride or on a commute somewhere, or are just looking for something to listen to for winding down after a long day. The format makes it digestible for the average listener - meaning you don't have to be a history buff to enjoy it! (But of course history buffs will love this too!)

Surprisingly interesting!
This is an 8 hour treasure trove of knowledge about America. Right from the start and right through to now, it details all major elements of American history. I found it really interesting hearing about the struggles and complexities of creating a country where so many different cultures and colonies had to been drawn together. The importance of the values and conditions set down by the 'founding fathers' were pivotal and created something that all 'American's' could come together and build from. This is well narrated and good to listen to...really clear.

Great narration
Great narration and book overall. Tons of cool facts and it was just the right length (without going too deep into any one area). Loved it!
