I was raised on Lawrence Sanders detective stories I attribute my alcoholism in part to the normality of the characters quaffing drink after drink - but I also learned my vocabulary at the end of his pen. Love the twists and turns and immersive quality of this story!

I usually love any book from Lawrence Sanders, but this one had a boring plot, a bit too obvious and the narration was slow and it felt like it was dragging. I am afraid I can't recommend this book.
