Entertaining as usual

Well written as usual. Quite a twist with terribly attractive men, coming out parties, and shooting and revenge throughout the book. I recommend it as a good read.

great story

the story itself was great. The narration is horrible, stiff and unable to tell the difference between characters. it was very hard to finish listening, but I enjoyed the story.

started out slow

But the story picked up and I really enjoyed it. I listened to all the other books in this series and am looking forward to more.

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such a delightful twist, but great story line. I was laughing and crying along with the characters and about them. I really wish there were more books in the bride series but I guess it has to stop somewhere right? Another great by Catherine and the narrator (one of my favorite) did a superb job!

Slightly better than # 9

Here there is more of a story. There is still the sex, which is up to individuals preferences, right? The plot here is better elicited. Two twins, handsome, of course, whose father and mother were married in an earlier book. There begins intrigue and danger, and one does not know why. Something about a ghost? The plot is about the father being in mortal danger, and how he and his family survives. See, a plot (read my review for book # 9 - Lyon's Gate). I must admit that after reading some truly fine pieces of Englich literature and returning to this, I find myself at a great loss. Sorry. There are some really fantastice pieces of historical literature out there, with true plots, real adventure, and life as it really was. I believe that Mrs. Coulter has her place in the scheme of things, but that ... if you want a true plot with real characters you might have to look elsewhere. Again, sorry.
