Publisher's summary

How have Christian theologies of religious superiority underwritten ideologies of white supremacy in the United States? According to Hill Fletcher, the tendency of Christians to view themselves as the "chosen ones" has often been translated into racial categories as well. In other words, Christian supremacy has historically lent itself to white supremacy, with disastrous consequences.

How might we start to disentangle the two? Hill Fletcher proposes strategies that will help foster racial healing in America, the first of which is to demand of white Christians that they accept their responsibility for racist policies and structural discrimination in America.

Book ruined by robotic voice!

When will Audible learn not to release audiobooks with a narrator that has a robotic voice?!? It ruins the book!

invisible minority

I haven't listened to this whole book yet, but i feel the need to comment on something. all these racial statistics, info and opinions only include African Americans, Latino Americans and one time Native Americans. Asian Americans are not even talked about as if they don't exist, don't matter or aren't significant or worthy enough to mention. no wonder Asians are sometimes considered an invisible minority. i'm not sure if this would make this book ironic or not, it's at the very least interesting and noteworthy.
