This was a true Cinderella story and gave me all the feels. Devoured it in one day. Couldn’t stop listening.
Claire Contreras is one of my favorite authors and never disappoints.
A feisty heroine and a man set to be king. These two were passionate and intense. Loved their connection!!

An intriguing, entertaining and addictive romance. Elias and Adeline are cute together. Its a forbidden romance that has you on the edge of your seat anticipating what will happen next. I liked this story. Narration was great.

You’re considered just as much as the upper crust especially to be scandalized then you have the balls to judge somebody on their family and you sit on your high horse one is your family even that much better? Not worth a credit no but I like the romance stories I just wish she get off her high horse. Who wants to hear 247 negative talk. There could be other things that she can harp on without constantly bringing it back to government and the monarchy.

I saw this book featured on Booktok/Instagram and it got me with a certain quote. While that quote was powerful in the book as well the book didn’t have the same intensity.

This book was even better than I thought it would be. I loved Adeline and Elias's story so much I listened to it twice in a row!

I've always been a fan of Ms. Contreras's writing, and this book did not disappoint. I was drawn in from the very beginning, and I was engrossed in the development of this couple's relationship. I thought the narrators did a great job portraying the characters and their emotions. I can't wait for more in this series!

I love this story, characters, narrator's, and the Author. I actually am surprised that I wasn't disappointed about there's not enough sex in it but the story was so good that I didn't really have any complaints about but there is some sex in it. I diffently recommend this audiobook. ❤

This one has been on my list to read for a while. I found it to be a decent enough story to hold my attention. I enjoy modern Royal stories so it held my attention through the end.

I enjoyed the seeming authentic of the characters in this book. I could have done with less crying from the female lead, but her relationship with the male lead was endearing. I am going into the store right now to shop for more in this series.
