Very Useful Guide for A Camping Trip

I've been camping before and this audiobook covers ALL the essentials you need for a successful camping trip - I even learned a few new things, myself! It goes over all you need to know about National Park rules and wildlife to creating your campsite - from the types of tents you need to the types of sleeping bags to essentials like what to include in your first aid kit. My favorite part were the campfire recipes you can use to make food on a campfire. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook if you have any plans to go camping!

Definitely a great contribution to fully enjoy the national parks!

Through many great hikes and excursions, we have forged through nature and have garnered something greater than life itself. It is to my true amazement to have stumbled upon a book so in tune with the appreciation of the gift of exploration. It gives great hope to the future generations to respect nature and to pass on the gifts that our national parks can offer. An introduction is all it takes for a novice individual to appreciate the wonders that parks can offer. This book does that with an easy to read format and opening of the mind to further explore. As the book explains go into this adventure with no expectations and you will be handsomely rewarded. Kudos to this young author.

A most complete guide

This listen provides all the information you need to know to camp in US national parks. From rules to first aid tools, I was amazed by the extent of the advice found within and dispensed effectively in a relatively short time. It is probably a better guide for beginners who do not yet know the basics or ins and outs of camping in these spaces.

Every camper should read this

From the first few lines, the writer captivates the reader. We should venture into the great outdoors more often. Imagine the unpredictability of inviting a handful of friends for a wild escapade. This seems like the ideal starting point. It's been a while for me. The anticipation of returning is immense! Jake Ward's insightful book only fuels this desire. The book delves into camping basics, from tents and sleeping bags to safety and dealing with pests. It also touches on lesser-discussed topics, like drone usage in camping, understanding campsite limits, and managing noise levels. I appreciate the author's effort in highlighting these aspects, having experienced disruptions from unruly neighboring campers.
