The chapter order has been corrected

This is the second book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would like to listen to the rest of the series. I have previously listened to book 3. After escaping the retirement community turned military run compound, Brad is on his way to tracking down Anna and the kids, whom he was separated from. Of course, why they were separated is not explained since it is surely the topic of the previous books. Despite not having listen to the first two books I still find the story engaging. Each one seems to have its own story thread with a version of conclusion and a lead into the continuing story.

If living in the frozen world is not difficult enough.

This is the eighth book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Andrew B Wehrlen ) and as I did not doubt- another great performance. He reads this genre well with the right amount of expression and realism. The tone of his voice adds to the dark nature of the stories.
Previous reviewer‘s commented on a mistake in the chapters but this has been corrected

There are no explicit sex scenes, or excessive gory violence. I do not recall if there was swearing.

Another great book.

I received a free copy of this book and exchange for an unbiased review. this is another great addition to the series and I highly recommend anyone. My favorite part is that all the chapters are definitely in order, despite what other people say.

Chapter orders are now correct.

Thin Ice: Enter Darkness, Book 4 - This whole series is a great read, and book 4 is no exception.
Brad must be one of the unluckiest survivors to survive. But his story is must read.
Enhanced by the narrator and brought to life by Andrew's style.
Credit to K.M Fawkes for his writing to keep interesting. Not an easy thing in this genre.

Good for a short read.

First, I have to start off by stating that I got this book free of charge in exchange for a review, but as I always state, this does not in any way impact my review. My reviews are always honest and my own.

The narration was pretty good, and I had no trouble distinguishing between the different characters. The delivery was smooth and well paced.

The great story, however, it was way too short.

This was a short book but a bit of a let down from the previous ones. I was looking forward to Anne being gone since I think she is a toxic waste of time. The entire first chapter was Brad thinking about and missing Anne! There was a lot of reminiscing through the book of previous events, I guess with the thought that we could not remember the first 3 books. Lee had potential as a character since he casts such a long shadow over Brad's life, but he was a very one-dimensional nut who at the end was very dangerous. We also ended up with Anne again and then I had to put up with being in agreement with Lee about her as a liability (though not his action). I made it this far and am curious what happens next, but I hope for better in the next book.

Thin Ice 3 a story of revenge

This book could well have been entitled Brad A descent into depravity. This book is one of the series it follows the main character Brad & Anne as they try to survive in a world gone mad. This book starts off with Brad coming to grips with the loss. The loss of Anne, His life and the world as he knows it. Any sense of normality is gone forever.

The characters are very believable and have a depth to their relationships are very interesting and held my attention I am looking forward to the next book to see what happens. I do love series books as they can expand upon characters personalities in much greater detail

.I was given this book to review. I listen to the book twice and then thought about my feelings and impressions

Great Book - And The Chapters are Correct

Another great book in this series....can't wait for the next one.

Also, whatever issue there was with the chapters being out of order is false or it has been fixed. Either way, there are no problems.

Amazing story continues

Only complaint is this is such a short book!
Lee is crazy as a loon. Brad is continuing to become an amazing character. Hopefully ‘The Family’ has been destroyed and will not rise back up. Starting book 5 tonight.

As always Andrew does an absolutely amazing job narrating!

A great series

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Wow, this series just keeps getting better. I honestly think this is the best one yet (at least once the chapter order thing was fixed). Anyway, the narration is fantastic and Brad is an awesome main character. Definitely a series I want to continue.

Another solid entry in the series.

Thin Ice is the 4th book in the Enter Darkness series. Not sure if this will make sense, but even though the runtime of this book is right around the same as the previous volumes in the series, this book 'feels' shorter, and more than like that is just because I ended up basically listening to this one straight through, lol. After surviving tragedy after tragedy, Brad is determined to track down his family before they fall into the hand of 'The Family', a crazy doomsday cult. Fawkes does a really good job of introducing us to a new character (no spoilers on who it is) and making us (or at least making me) really not like him. And while I think I'd have preferred a slower buildup to the climax, I have to say the very end of this book hits like a hammer, and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

As always Andrew Wehrlen delivers a great performance and hopefully he'll continue to narrate the series.

Please note that an earlier review reported that the chapters of the book were out of order. I can tell you that issue has been resolved and that all chapters are in the correct order.
