Publisher's summary

Once you've experienced the power of the present moment, what's next? Eckhart Tolle, who ignited a spiritual awakening in the West with his best-selling The Power of Now, invites you to join him on a path that takes us even further into the profound experience of pure presence.

Through the Open Door is Eckhart's continuation of his teachings on audio, featuring teachings on:

  • Achieving space consciousness - learning to focus on the underlying field from which all forms and thoughts arise
  • Refining your alertness to become alive and present with every cell of your body
  • The illusions that lead to suffering, spiritual longing, and the need for more time in our lives - and how to dispel them
  • How to discover true liberation beyond the limits of the thinking mind and the little self

Eckhart's listeners often report that they play his recordings time and again in order to experience his unique ability to transport them to a state of awakened consciousness. Now the legions of fans who turn to this modern spiritual beacon for guidance are invited to follow him through the open door into a new world of vast aliveness.

Short and sweet

Short, sweet and to the point...literally pointing us toward the only thing that is really important.

Loved it but there was background noise when Eckhart spoke. Must have and listened to.

a tonic

if you realize that your endless thinking about past and future and hypothetical problems is a dysfunctional way of being in the world, this book is a tonic. If you don't, don't bother, it will just annoy you.

Refuge

I put on my earbuds and listen while I water the flowers as the sun sets after a hot day. I become still , and relax for the first time today. Eckhart is the catalyst whom points me toward the door. Eternally great full for the diminished suffering .I am where I am supposed to be. Many Thanks.

There are no words...

There are no words...there are no thoughts... there are no conditions...only vast awareness...and salvation from "self".

Love listening to this

This is one of my favorites. It’s short and to the point. I’ve listened to it over and over and I get something new out of it every time.

Essential Eckhart

Eckhart says all questions have the same answer and this Through the Open Door talk gives the seeker all one needs for complete spiritual understanding of ones purpose in this human life.
His pointers, signs, bring you to the satisfying awareness that we have all we need at every moment as long as we understand who we are in the evolution of human conciousness.

Very good

I’ve listened to most of Eckhart’s retreats and this one hits home in a shorty amount of time.

There is a sound quality issue that I lowered the performance rating.
