Publisher's summary
Twelve years after abandoning me when I needed him most, Lucas Adler is back in Sun River. The boy I thought would be my forever is now a man on a mission to make things right. He wants to meet my son. I’d rather introduce him to my fist.
Then Lucas makes an offer I can’t refuse: help him reopen the idyllic Camp Wild Lake for a new generation of kids. It’s my dream come true, and he knows it.
The more time I spend with Lucas, though, the harder it is to hold onto resentment. Our shared history binds us, and our chemistry is the kind our high school science teachers warned us about—explosive.
Can I let go of the hurt and anger of his abandonment all those years ago? We can’t rewrite the past, but perhaps we can shape the future.
Either way, it’s time for us to find out.
Time for Us is a full-length standalone contemporary romance with spice. Please see the author's website for content warnings.

Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

Beautifully Heartfelt! Wonderful Story & Listen🎧
This is a wonderful story of a beautiful romance that never had its chance, a story that is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. A younger Celeste Miller became best friends with the boy door, Lucas Adler, a friendship that turned into crushes. Jeremy Torres also crushed on Celeste and when he made his intentions known, Lucas knew he missed his chance with her. Celeste and Jeremy get married, but she does not have him long, because he dies while serving the country, leaving her and their son, Damian, on their own. Lucas had already left Sun River, returned for Jeremy’s funeral, but Celeste had not seen or heard from him since, until now. Lucas has done well for himself and comes back to Sun River to develop an old campground, the same campground he, Jeremy, and Celeste spent time at and were fond of. Celeste is not happy with Lucas for several reasons, and questions his intentions with the property and why he came back to Sun River. I adored these two, and it was clear there were unresolved feelings between them, and an undeniable chemistry. It was great to watch them reacquaint themselves and learn about who they are now, as well as their past selves. I loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and a steamy romance. And Jeremy’s letters hit me straight in the heart. The writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. L.M. Halloran, thank you for this wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Samantha Brentmoor, Sean Masters, and Oscar Reyes were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and do so with a complete understanding of who they are portraying, giving each a voice that is fitting. They take their roles and own them, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. Brentmoor nails it as Celeste, showcasing every aspect of her personality and Masters does the same as Lucas, with both delivering an exceptional performance and Reyes was just as amazing as Jeremy. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture their character’s emotions, making you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates this already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

Emotional Love Story
Celeste is pregnant and loses her husband and now her life is forever changed. Lucas was her best friend growing up. He abandons her when she needs him the most & twelve years later he comes back to reopen the summer camp they belong to as kids. Old wounds start to open up. And they wonder if they can move on or stay in the past.
This book put me through the emotional ringer. Halloran's writing was so beautifully written. I loved the journey both Lucas & Celeste go through. The anger & pain and this love they have for each other. And the love they have for Jeremy. Celeste's husband & Lucas' best friend.
The audiobook was truly amazing. It was in dual narration but the flashbacks were done in duet which brought the emotions full force. Samantha Brentmoor & Sean Masters were incredible. The emotions & pain they brought to Celeste & Lucas were beautiful. And Oscar Reyes as Jeremy, had me bawling.
The beautiful writing & the incredible narration, this audiobook will be sticking with me for a long time.

This book had me laughing, crying, swooning, and my heart breaking. It was so beautifully written and heartfelt. Two best friends growing up going through hard times. Later in life they get a second chance at friendship. He loved her since they day they met. She loved him too but he broke her heart so that Jeremy could ask her out. They way all this unfolds was tearing up my heart for them both! I was crying my eyes out at the letters that were found out about.
I listened to an advanced audiobook and Samantha Brentmoor and Sean Masters did amazing bringing the characters to life! Oscar Reyes did Jeremy's voice and it was such a great touch to have for his voice. This was in dual narration. I really enjoyed it!
L.M. Halloran did such an amazing job on this book that I was messaging her on Insta every time I was crying! She is such a sweet author!

Heart Wrenching Beautuful
This duel narration story, was my everything I didn't know I wanted or needed, the emotions that the narrators demonstrated from the words written. The way that LM writes, she has a chockhold on me, this duel story was beautifully written and spoken, my heart hurt, loved, rejoiced, cried, and hoped for this life story that is very realistic, you can see the love and attention that was put into it. Both Peapod (how beautiful of a nickname!) Celeste and Lucas had to go through the emotions they did, their journey was not an easy one, but without this journey the love that they had for each other could not have happened, and that does not diminish the life that they had for Jeremy, he was such a huge part of them and left a wonderful gift. I will say there are no horrible human beings here, but I do wish Jeremy had seen how much Lucas and Celeste were meant for each other from the beginning, and part of me thinks he did, but just like Lucas he wanted to be selfish and have a beautiful live as well, wish is understandable, and LM thank you for giving us your words first and this beautiful audio now

Amazing story with fantastic narration!
An emotion story filled with love, forgiveness and second chances. Lucas and Celeste have amazing banter, name calling and their teasing is sooongood!! Lucas and Celeste have regrets, strong feelings and are a bit angry with one another. I love how they worked through all their emotions and feelings to give one another a chance at being friends. The more time they spend together those old feelings prevails…a really beautiful love story. Samantha Brentmoor, Sean Masters and Oscar Reyes deliver a beautiful performance. Love how narrators take an authors words and give us amazing characters filled with emotion, personality and amazing voice.

I loved this!!
Time for Us is book #2 in the Sun River series. Celeste and Lucas were best friends from childhood. In high school, Jeremy joined their circle and the three were thick as thieves. A stolen kiss at camp, secrets unrevealed, and a broken heart has Lucas leaving town at 18, Jeremy enlisting, and Celeste marrying Jeremy. Harsh words between Celeste and Lucas leave them as enemies. Now Lucas has returned, but he's after more than a business deal. He's determined to finally take his shot with Celeste. This story is so emotionally charged, gah! I couldn't stop listening. And the letters...my undoing. I am in love with this series!
The narration was so moving! Sean Masters and Samantha Brentmoor are Lucas and Celeste, with a cameo (get those tissues ready) from Oscar Reyes as Jeremy. Y'all...the longing, the passion, the regrets...you can hear EVERYTHING with these three. Loved, loved, LOVED this! 5/5 stars.
