Publisher's summary

You'd think having the gift of second sight would make my life feel more secure.

Instead, I'm left with sleepless nights, a body count higher than my bestie, Herculeia, and an unfinished five-year plan. Was a juicy benefits package with an entire stable of Skarsgards too much to ask for?

Officially burned out, I decided to extend my business trip to Stockholm by two weeks—determined to forget my troubles by stuffing my face with Swedish meatballs. And I'm not just talking about the food.

When I meet the sexiest meatball right out of the gate, I think the tides are finally turning in my favor. Too bad my prophetic visions failed me once again.

Now I'm the one on hot-bod monster island, but instead of being chained to the bed for fun, it's more a hostage situation. I can still work with that.

The question is, can I convince my three mythological captors to abandon their doomsday plot for eternity with me? Or is our fate already set in stone?

Valhalla is Full of Hunks is a standalone tale in the Monstrously Mythic universe. While it will be mostly spoiler-free, for the best experience, you may want to listen to the completed Herculeia duet first.

If you love a five-foot-nothing unapologetic ho meeting her monsters, an overly possessive, extremely unhinged stable of Skarsgards, very few morals, Norse mythology with many ridiculous liberties taken, multi-POVs, tasty banter, and naughty dark humor, then stuff your face with Swedish meatballs!

Contains a bonus story, "The Yule Log (in Jör's Lederhosen)."

2.5

So it pains me to write this review. I rounded it up to 3 stars because it hurt me to leave it at 2.
Let me start by saying that Herculeia’s books is a masterpiece. It was a five star read for me and I absolutely adored it. Which is why when I noticed that Iola had her own book with her own monsters I was extremely excited and got the audiobook at once, unfortunately for me the book just didn’t deliver.

I have to admit that I was not interested in the plot at all, I found it a bit boring, and I was just not invested in the outcome.

The romantic aspect was just lacking for me, one of the love interest absolutely hates Iola and is an asshole during the whole book so I can’t really understand where the falling in love came from. Jör felt like the protagonist most of the time, and I did adore him, and then Fen’s distance just didn’t make sense, it was just all over the place, I was just very confused, I didn’t feel the love, I didn’t feel the romance, I didn’t see character development, I just put it at 2X, so I could finish it quickly and get it over with honestly.

I do want to point out that I absolutely absolutely adore Rochelle‘s books and if anyone reads this book as their first one, this shouldn’t discourage you from checking out her other stories because for me, they are all five star books, unfortunately it was a miss for me on this one.

amazing monster reverse harem with super sweet sweet sub and hot doms

I loved this story of combined Norse Mythology, cursed Monsters, and romance. I really enjoyed the references to Norse Mythology and Ragnarock. The characters were fun some super sweet and others alphaholes but they all worked as they found their roles in this foursome. There was plenty of excitement as Iola tried to figure out her place with her men. There was plenty of spice as Fate shows its hand. If you enjoy monster tales with sub and dom roles, fated mates, found family, and lots of toe curling s$xytimes!
