About this listen

From breakout TikTok sensation Jeneane O'Riley comes the highly anticipated third book in the Infatuated Fae series, full of forbidden romance, twisty betrayals, and fairy tale magic.

"Maybe I want to be everything to you… your hero and your villain."

Trapped in the In-Between, Caly, Mendax, and Aurelius are fighting for their lives―they just don't know whose.

Caly's bond to Mendax from their bonding ceremony and her mortality being tied to Aurelius's from when he saved her life mean the three of them have tangled their life forces together. And now that they know maintaining both connections is against the natural order of things, one of them must be sacrificed for the other two.

Caly can't let another one of her loved ones die, but she also needs to answer the summons so she can finally meet her father. Then, perhaps, she can be sent to the Elysian Fields to be with her mother and sister. But her father has information that could change everything―and even if she's ready to sacrifice herself, she'll have to get through the Seelie Prince and the Unseelie Prince to do so, while also keeping them from killing each other.

Amazing

What the actual eff. I’m at a loss of words. I couldn’t devour this book fast enough but now that I’m done I’m left with this massive cliff hanger. I just want to go back to the very beginning of the series and start all over while I wait for the final book. This whole series has been absolutely amazing, mind bending, and full of twists and turns I never saw coming. I know book four is going to absolutely break me.

Ahhhh these cliffhangers

I need book four right now. I love how the pace even in book 3 hasn’t slowed.
This narration is also top tier

Burn was waaaay to slow

It’s alright but didn’t care for all the unnecessary parts and the ending was rough. The voice actors were so perky and cringey for such dark subject matter.

Best in the Series (so far)

This book was the best in the series! After THAT scene in the second book (you know the one), I didn’t think I’d want to pick this book up. I’m glad my inquisitive and eternally curious mind would not leave me alone. I read this book in one night, could not put it down. The banter, the plot twists, the anticipation, the pacing, it was checking off all the boxes. The ending had me all torn up and broken, so you know it’s good. The performance was on the nose, great job by the narrators. This is the book that made me want to re-read the first two, and I am insanely excited about the fourth. I knocked off a star because something about Mendax and Caly’s sex obsession is a bit much, especially when the moment just doesn’t call for it. I don’t think there’s one scene where Mendax’s monologues don’t turn into something sexual. And Caly always opening the flood gates in the most inopportune times is just strange and takes you out of the story. I love spice, but you have to read the room, so to speak.
