Loved the Narrarator. She is amazing.

The characters came to life under the skillful voice acting. The story was great, and the author had rich character development.

bad breakup better new beginning

Spencer is a strong determined young woman. Brandon a hottie with a body.

Spencer and Brandon both are coming off of break-ups. The magnetism between them is strong. their bond grows strong quickly, While ones break-up is clean the other has lingering bad taste weeks after its all over.

Knight gives drama with a capital 'D' with the new relationship and the test of staying power.

Now on to Brandon's POV in 'Finding Spencer'.

Narration was captivating. It held with pitch, tone, audio quality and in clarity.

Oh my goodness!

If you could sum up Where I Need to Be in three words, what would they be?

I do not usually read books with a cliffhanger.. BUT, this series is an exception. Spencer and Brandon are so hot!! I love their characters. There is just enough drama and suspense in this series that will make you want to read the next book. I can feel the love of Brandon for Spencer, and vise versa. I am a big fan of this author and the narrator..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yup! I listened to this book in one sitting

A Favorite Reread

I love this book. I've reread it many times. I was extremely worried about listening to a favorite read; I didn't know if my imagined emphasis and voices would interfere with my reading enjoyment. I was wrong. I prefer more than one narrator, but this work was well done. The story still caught my attention and nothing was too distracting. The only thing I didn't care for were a few of the voices. Ryan (Spencer's best friend) sounded a little whiny to me, but I was able to get over it.

overall a good read

I won't say that I didn't enjoy the book because I did but the ending left me wanting more. It was abrupt with in my personal opinion and I'm complete storyline. It would have been nice to know what happened to Christy and the end and where that left Brandon. But once again I'm not saying it wasn't a good book it is definitely worth the read I would have just liked a little more information to complete the story.

Sex but complicated love story

When Spencer first sees Brandon at the gym, she is attracted to him, but she is not sure if it's mutual. Through a series of coincidences they meet and the passion is hot. The only thing that threatens their relationship is Brandon's ex. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to listening to the next book in this series. The narrator did an excellent job. I chose this book from the Audible Romance Package.

Could have been excellent for me.

Rating: 2.5 Stars. SPOILERS are identified with warnings before you can read them.

Why?
The characters are somewhat 2 dimensional and there was minimal development of the MCs.

Vegas is a very small part of the story so if that is why you are ready this, you may want to skip it.

The Good
There was plenty of heat between the MCs and the book is probably 40% sexual exploration (just between the two). The author definitely wants her characters to enjoy each other! If you don't like explicit sex, skip please.

I like the story line but it looks like this series is all about the two MCs and instead of having dual POV, there is a novella after each story for the H's POV. Having multiple books on the same characters gets boring. I prefer a maximum of three books on the same MCs but prefer one and then stories based on their friends or family to keep it fresh while building a community.

1. Ex-girlfriend says she's pregnant and you take her at face value, even though she has been acting like a crazy stalker.

2. Go with her to the Doctor but she will not allow you in the room or talk to the doctor about 'your child' and it is not a red flag?

3. End of the book they go back to the house and spend an hour trying to clean up the blood and mess. The H is well to do and could stay at her place or a hotel AND get professional cleaners to clean or a contractor to replace the flooring.

4. The end was extremely abrupt.

Narrator ruined it!

Maybe I could have suffered through the sophomoric dialogue but when the narrator sounded like she was still in HS and made 30 year old women sound like they were bimbos I couldn’t finish. So disappointed
