Publisher's summary

A young, handsome cowboy, wounded and left for dead, discovers a small farm where love happens . . .

Lizzy Montgomery puts all of her efforts into raising her three sibling on the family farm after her mother dies and her father disappears. This wasn’t an easy job for a twenty year old who has to fight off the advances of several men. All that changes when a wounded, unconscious cowboy shows up at her water trough lying over on his horse in the front yard.

Pete Peterson should have known better than to join a card game in a town he was just passing through while traveling across Texas. After he left town with a bag of money he won, the sore losers chased and shot him, leaving him for dead. Fortunately, his horse stopped at a small farm where he was nursed back to health.

Horrible auto narration

I have no idea if the story was good or not because I couldn’t get past a couple chapters listening to the emotionless, awkward automated narration. It grated on my ears. Total Waste of money
