Great tips that is easily digestible!

I really enjoyed this book. The book acts as an introduction to better health, providing an overview of eating cleaner, sleep, and actions to improve emotional and physical health.

I appreciate the author’s balance of teaching the scientific terminology and ways it affects you, while providing digestible examples. Because the book is short and concise, it was a quick fun read that inspired me to branch out to learn about the things that resonated with me. For example, I knew I was eating healthy and was frequently fasting, but I now am going to evaluate my sleep habits.

The beauty of the book, is that people often want a magic pill to solve all their problems and extend their lives, and so the author introduces quick takeaways with his lessons, but he incorporates a holistic wellness solution for people to audit their own habits that contribute to mental and physical wellness.

An amazing guide to healthier living

I listened to Why Dr. skip breakfast on Audiobooks because I had been interested in intermittent fasting from a conversation I had with a former coworker. I was pleasantly surprised when I found so many other jewels about sleep, diet, and technologies which can assist people who are trying to live a better, more healthy lifestyle. After I finished the book, I started practicing intermittent fasting and was more consciously aware of my diet and sleep habits. For 3 months I did the 16 hour fast each day, and noticed the changes in my weight and waist. I am still on this journey and I am working on incorporating more of the recommendations from Why Doctors Skip Breakfast into my lifestyle. I have shared this book on my social media page and have been trying to get family and friends onboard with me so that we can do this together. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to make significant changes in their health.
