Publisher's summary

What do you do when the Angel of Death asks you to steal from one of the most powerful covens in the world?

You leave the celestial realm, give up your wings, and sneak into the coven's lair while they're all partying it up in New Orleans.

Or, at least that was Maddox Calder's plan. Until a curse leaves him dazed - and in the path of an oncoming car.

Killian Wade loathes being a rare, male witch. Especially one who can't control his power. After the death of his mentor - at his hand - Killian prefers to hide away at his Brighton estate. It's safer for everyone. But he's been summoned to New Orleans, and the last witch to refuse such an invitation was never heard from again.

Hit by a curse after only half a glass of wine, Killian flees, but finds a handsome, broken man in the street, begging for help. Something about Maddox calls to him, and though he's a danger to everyone he meets, he can't leave Mad to die.

Cursed to face their greatest fears, the two men know only one thing.

They're stronger together than they are apart.

Wicked Omens is the 5th book in the Cursed Coven series and is a male/male romance.

On Samhain night the covens gather under a Harvest Moon.

It’s a time for pure magic.

A night of unbridled witchcraft.

A celebration of all they are and all they will be.

But there’s a dark force lurking, hiding, plotting. A rogue determined to curse every witch at the gathering. When she does, no one escapes.

Face their darkest fear.

Survive or die.

These are the stories of thirteen witches cursed at the one place they should have found sanctuary.

Quick But Hot Listen

Three hour story from the fantastic Patricia D. Eddy is just what I needed for some added spark and heat to the day. I enjoyed having a PNR that combined all the beings - witches, angels, vampires - into one story arc that could go a myriad of ways from just this short tale. If more of the Cursed Coven books were on audio I'd definitely be listening - especially with Shane East and Greg Boudreaux as stellar narrators!

Short story with amazing narrators!

I’m going to be honest, I bought this audiobook because of the narrators. Shane East could read me the phone book and I’ll be all over that. Greg Boudreaux could read me the dictionary and I’ll be a load smarter because I’ll definitely listen.
Now, give me a book with these two narrating it and here, take my money. These two are magic.

So yeah, amazing narrators. Five wicked stars.

The story was short but a good one to listen to. I’m sure it’s a part of a series but I was able to follow the story without reading the previous books.

In this book there are witches, vampires, angels and even demons. The world building was succinct. The conflict was complex yet the resolution was well executed, as was the conclusion of the story.
There’s a bit of insta-love though.. their romance, the love story part felt rushed.

All in all, if you’re in the mood for paranormal short story with awesome narrators, this one is for you.

Great Paranormal M/M novella

This M/M paranormal novella is part of the Cursed Coven Series. Maddox and Killian's story is well written, and captivating. They share an instant attraction and a sizzling and beautiful chemistry. This story has demons, witches and angels. The storyline is fast-paced, and action packed. Greg Boudreaux and Shane East did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

Fantastic Book!💜

I love when then all the different paranormal characters collide into each other to create an amazing world of Witches, Angels, Vampires and more.
What makes it even better? When true love is found in the most unexpected places.
Another great story from Patricia D. Eddy.
The narration by Shane East and Greg Boudreaux was not only perfect, it was scorching!
This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.
I highly recommend this book!

Fantastic short narrated by two of the best!

I loved this short and amazing book. Patricia D. Eddy definitely knows how to pack a story into a short novella. And Shane and Greg? Oh boy, they did such a great job bringing it to life. I seriously loved it! Highly recommend.

Ok story, amazing narration

The story seemed rushed. Maybe because this is my first encounter with the series and so maybe there were character backstories I am not familiar with, but I just felt like something was missing.

The narration, however, was magnificent. I really like Greg Boudreaux, and I would listen to Shane East read the dictionary. In fact, he's the reason I even found this one.

Meh

Even on sale, even with two phenomenal narrators, this novella did nothing for me.
The plot, dialogue, and MM romance were all sadly forgettable.

Better MM paranormal romance with Greg Boudreaux narrating:
🔥Demon Magic by Alice Winters (Hot, hilarious, hate-flirting at its best)
🔥Not Dead Yet by Jenn Burke (paranormal police procedural with humor and heart)
