The characters of four younger Baguette children William, Janice, Tricia and Buddy. Clarice was a special character too!

There is nothing to dislike about this book! The author keeps you in suspense and awe as you try to guess what will happen next to the characters!

Another great story by ZKS!

I enjoyed this depression era story of realistic fiction. The plot moved well, the characters were realistically creative, and I liked the ending. It has some sad content with abusive family members, but also hope and optimism. Reading performance was fine though I’ve heard ones that sound more like a story being told than a book being performed.
