Publisher's summary

Brandon McAllister fell hard for Leslie Baggett and she for him, but Leslie’s mother moved her family from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Dallas, Texas, and keeping in touch becomes hard. According to their agreement, Brandon goes to Dallas for Leslie’s junior prom, but Leslie doesn’t come to his senior one the next year. A confusing, vague letter gives little information. The series of events to come next leaves them both reeling. How do you face a future when all your hopes and dreams have been shattered?

Sweet Romance

Brandon and Leslie were high school sweethearts. But their love ran deep, so when Leslie's mother moved them all to a new place, they were devastated. They were committed to one another and could not let go of their love. It was a long road with a lot of bumps. How could their love survive? Did their love survive? Okay, so I can't tell you and spoil the book for you! This is such a sweet read and I can always expect a clean story from this author.

The narration was good, bringing the story and the characters to life.

I requested this audiobook from the author and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Christian Romance

This second book in the series can be listened to as a standalone, however listening to the first book will give you some background on Brandon and Leslie and their families, which will help you understand them better. I did enjoy this story however not quite as much as the first book. It is a sweet love story, I just found the deception by Leslie’s mother took too long to resolve realistically, and put the young couple through more heartache than necessary, which was frustrating. I did like the narration better however. The narrator did a nice job with all the voices, male and female. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily provided this unbiased review.

Good book

While I enjoyed Book #1 better but this was still enjoyable. Young love is hard to understand and sometimes seems like it happens too quickly and isn't meant to last... but God... He truly had His hand in Brandon's and Leslie's lives.

I'm a firm believer that the Lord knows the end from the beginning and we just need to trust him and not leap to our own conclusions. Truly he wants what is best for us and Brandon and Leslie learn this to be true.

The narrator did a good job as well.
