Publisher's summary

On Teralia, where magic has hidden for thousands of years, Darkness arises to challenge the Veil spell. The barrier is weakening.

Magic is returning to the universe. Only an outsider can prevent the destruction of the Glade and the people she loves.

On Sanctuary, the supporters of Tenybris have taken control. The universe teeters on the brink of all-out war.

Standing against them are Katheryne, the Foundation, prophesied to rid the universe of Tenybris forever, and Derren, the other half of her soul. Along with a small band of extraordinary friends, they need to raise an alliance against Sanctuary but incur terrible losses along the way.

Unseen, the Beast plots the release of its master. But Tenybris's freedom is not enough to sate the monster's depravity, as it sets out to corrupt and destroy whatever and whomever it can.

This is the beginning of the end. Who will remain standing?

That Old Black (& White) Magic

This is my favorite of the three books so far. I enjoyed the ventures into some of the other worlds and beings as well as behind the failing veil and who doesn't love a sarcastic dragon.

This book has love and heartache, defeat and victory, joy and sadness, personal bravery and cowardliness, and a great cast of magical and non-magical characters.

Gwen's story line is as intriguing and addicting as the story of Katheryne and friends. I really like how the central cast for the upcoming battle in the next book(s) was given time to develop in this book. Oh... and did I mention the dragons?

Katie Welburn gets better and better with the vocals and inflections.

When does the next book come out? Can't wait

Brilliant

This audiobook was provided by the author at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review.

This is a great mix of Scifi and fantasy. So unique and I love it. Sometimes I have a hard time keeping Interest in Scifi books. Not this series. Keeps you hooked the whole way. Book flows well and is well written with believable characters. Good narrator as well. Highly recommend this one. I will be following this author.

The Saga continues

I got this audio book free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book of the Neverwar trilogy, and the story goes on just as fascinating as before. It's hard to tell whether somebody who hasn't read or listened to the first volume would understand what it is all about, but I guess they'd have trouble, and that's why I didn't rate it five stars.

I love the language, and it is fluently written, with remarkable characters.

Like before, Katie Welburn narrates in a passionate way, so all emotions come across brilliantly and convincingly. I'm even slowly getting used to her fast paced reading. :)
A great saga which combines fantasy, scifi, and reality in a very skilled way.

Great Story!

Like the two previous books by CJ Rutherford, this is wonderful! The story has a tough female lead, great action and a solid storyline. I cannot wait for the next book. This is a strong series.

Worlds of the Never doesn’t disappoint! Definitely worth a listen!!!

This book literally has everything!!

I received this book for free from the author/narrator for an honest and unbiased review.

This book does have it all. I am really starting to enjoy his style of writing. I won't hesitate to read any book by CJ Rutherford. The narrator did a great job, there were slow areas but just a few. Not enough to detract from the book or story.
Worth a credit - definitely

Happy Reading/Listening!!!

A Good Fantasy Story for Teens

Worlds of the Never was a good listen although in some places it was a little hard for me to follow. That doesn't mean much though; it's just sometimes hard for me to follow fantasy stories. The characters were good and the story was overall good. It jumped around a lot and that's where I got lost. The chapters moved around to several different places, although I do like alternating POV's but there was confusion for me.

Katie Welburn did a nice job narrating this book. She has a great voice and is skilled at what she does. Listening to her definitely made the story easier for me.
