Publisher's summary

What’s your life worth on the open market?

In this sexy, gritty future noir, debt collectors take your life energy and give it to someone more “worthy”...all while paying the price with black marks on their souls.

Wraith is a shadow in the night, haunting the bedrooms of the rich "high potentials" who have stolen life energy from the desperate and dying. The justice and the sweet mercy hit that follow keep her from falling into her own personal abyss. Her secret nighttime work also keeps her on level for her real job: Carrying on her father's mission to bring an end to debt collection as a whole. But when a mysterious debt collector interrupts her in the act and discovers her secret, everything Wraith loves may be destroyed by the one thing she can never fix - the original sin of being a debt collector herself.

Recommended: Start with season one

Originally written as a serial, Wraith is season two of the Debt Collector series and contains the complete story of Wraith. Each season is told from the perspective of a different debt collector.

A good long listen

This book is much longer than most I've listened to, thirteen and a half hours, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Having read the first season of this series, I had high expectations for this one. Susan Kaye Quinn certainly did not let me down.

I always enjoy the way she builds her characters with such depth. I couldn't stop listening and picked it up any free moment I found. In spite of how long it is, I felt disappointed when it was done. I can't wait for the next season of the Debt Collector series.

I received a free review copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this review.

Great story!

I'm going to be honest, I didn't listen to Season 1. The great news is, you don't have to! This is a great book for people who are interested to listen too. I love the way the narrator tells the story and keeps you engaged, no matter where you're listening from! Thumbs up all around to Susan Kaye Quinn's writing and Emily Ellet's excellent storytelling capabilities!
