Publisher's summary

Yellowstone Kelly is an Indian fighter and scout like no other. The devil-may-care Irishman can pick off hostiles and quote the classics with equal ease and accuracy. Even the mighty Sioux fear him - or most of them fear him.

Sitting Bull's main war chief, the dreaded Gall, fears no man, and Kelly has something of his that the warrior would gladly kill to get back - his woman.

This is real Historical Fiction

Great listen the details like misfires from the army issue rifles are accurate. (from reading other like books I'm no expert). most of what Audible has in Historical Fiction are just romance. romance novels are fine but keep them under Romance. more real Historical Fiction authors please.

Enjoyed it

It was a good story. Many difficult situations encountered with no hope of survival yet able to persevere! I was spell bound.

Get the pronunciation right

Great story. It kills me the reader fails to take the time to find out the pronunciation of foreign words repeatedly. In this day and age a simple google search would provide a much better read. Books are edited, shouldn’t performances be too?

So good! An Americana Must.

This book should get much more publicity. The story, reader and writing is top notch!

I was born too late.. this is not my time

I have read much of this era and of its people and it's when I would have loved to be there.. they lived as I would like to live now. but that is long gone and never to return. so I'm doing the best with the life that I have but it's not the one I wanted.
this was a great story. I am sorry it's not part of mine.

Excellent Book, Excellent Narration!

If you like Westerns you will like this book. I had never read a Clay Fisher book--- that is my bad!

As far as John Lescault is concerned, I will be looking for more of his work, he does a great job!
