כאשר יהודי שואל איך תובעים ממנו להיות סור מרע בשלימות בשעה שהוא נמצא בעולם מלשון העלם והסתר והוא רואה ושומע ענינים בלתי רצויים – איך יצליח בזה?!, הנה ע"ז באה ההוראה מחודש ניסן – מלשון "נס", ו"יציאת מצרים" – יציאה ממיצרים וגבולים: מאז "יציאת מצרים" הנה הנהגתו הטבעית של יהודי היא הנהגה נסית, למעלה מחשבונות, מדידות והגבלות. וכמו ביציאת מצרים, הנה ברגע אחד היתה היציאה מן הקצה אל הקצה, מגלות מצרים, "ערות הארץ", אל הגאולה. הנה עד"ז אצלו: אע"פ שברגע שלפנ"ז הי' ר"ל במצב הפכי לגמרי, הנה "בשעתא חדא וברגעא חדא" יכול להיות "סור מרע" בתכלית השלימות ובהידור [המשך יבוא]

When a Jew asks how he can be expected to fully “turn away from evil” when he lives in the world (olam) from the expression “hiddenness and concealment (“helem v’hester”), where he sees and hears undesirable things etc., so how can he possibly succeed? The answer comes from the month of Nissan, which comes from the word “miracle” (nes), and from the exodus from Egypt (leaving one’s constraints and limitations): Ever since the Exodus from Egypt, a Jew’s natural behavior is miraculous – beyond calculations, measurements, and limitations. Therefore, just as in the Exodus from Egypt, there was a transformation in one moment from one extreme to the other, from exile in “the nakedness of the land” to redemption – so too, for every Jew: even if a moment earlier one was in an entirely opposite state Rachmana litzlan, nevertheless “in one hour and one moment” he can fully “turn away from evil” in the most perfect and meticulous fashion.
