    I made a mistake. Yes, it's true.

    I wore my favorite brand new shoes,

    On a recent trip, to our local zoo.


    It happened near the kangaroos,

    Who didn't like my new shoe's hue

    Because when I walked into their view,

    They started screaming with hollers and hoo's.


    The kangaroos grabbed sticks, made of bamboo.

    and vaulted over. First one. Then two.

    They grabbed my shoes and souvenir kazoo

    And started making some kind of stew.


    It looked a lot like my mom's fondue.

    They served it up and began to chew.

    The other guests encouraged me to subdue

    but I started feeling like I had the flu


    Hey, it was hard to know, just what to do.

    When kangaroos put on a ruse.

    So. I grabbed my jacket, said adieu,

    and signed a paper that said I wouldn't sue.


    Here's some advice from me to you;

    If you're ever forced to your local zoo,

    and find yourself in brand new shoes,

    stay away, from kangaroos.
