For 2025, we can create a meaningful approach to goal setting, moving away from the “all or nothing” mindset. We can create a life of aligned energy when we achieve results through consistent, small steps rather than radical changes.

Dedicating 90 minutes daily to your most important goal for 90 days can lead to significant growth. A dream becomes a goal when it's written down, and breaking a goal into actionable steps creates a plan that leads to reality.

Take a moment to list what you dream about in various aspects of your life. Pick one significant dream to focus on over the next three months. Determine a goal related to that dream, ensuring it stretches out over several years to allow for a gradual approach.

Set smaller, incremental goals that lead toward the larger dream. Daily, small actions can help achieve broader, long-term objectives.

    • Establish specific days and times to work on your goals.
    • Align your efforts with when you have the most energy.
    • Approach your goals with kindness and patience towards yourself.

As you reflect on your approach to goal setting, consider what is most effective for you and what old habits you may want to change.

In this episode, Kelly shares an excerpt from a conversation from one of her live coaching sessions.

    Every human is inherently worthy!

This week's conversation is a reminder to each of us that we are loved, valuable & good. Recognizing our inherent worthiness creates guiding thoughts that move you towards a vibrant life, full of healthy love & acceptance of both self & others.

    Main points:

    • You are made on purpose for a purpose; you are good, loved, and valuable just for existing.
    • As we interact with others during the holidays, it's essential to remember that everyone's experiences and interpretations can differ. As Mel Robbins would say- "Let them!"
    • May Christmas be a time when our weary souls rejoice and rest.

Identifying specific tools for before, during, and after gatherings can help you focus on your mental and emotional well-being, ensuring the holidays are filled with joy and love instead of exhaustion.

    Main points: .

    • Simplicity is key: It’s better to have a few effective tools than a large, overwhelming set that you can't remember to use.
    • As you plan, consider each occasion’s unique theme and adjust your tools accordingly.
      • Ex. Choose different tools for hosting vs being a guest.
    • Decide on purpose what thoughts you want to keep on repeat.
    • Recognize your energy limits.
    • Practice accepting what you cannot change, especially what others think, feel and do!
    • Make sure to incorporate rest and recovery time & make time for joy filled moments.

  • Peace & Harmony Begin With You
    Dec 10 2024

What energy would you like this holiday season? I don't think any of us want to be frustrated, resentful, annoyed, or aggravated, which is a frequent mindset during the holiday season. We give lip service to the idea of “peace and harmony”, but how much effort do we each actually put into doing OUR part towards that end?

Many of us wait for a sense of peace passively, as if it's a state caused by life circumstances going well or based on what other people do, as if we are victims to the whims of the world and those around us. This is not accurate thinking!

Did you know that peace and harmony CAN begin inside you, regardless of your life circumstances? It’s a choice and an intention. Take a listen and learn some strategies to increase a sense of peace and harmony inside you while also managing your energy budget during the holiday season and all year long. .

    Main points:

    • Practice choosing repeating thoughts that can create feelings of peace, harmony, and love.
    • Accept and notice that your energy is going to be affected during the holiday season; notice what brings vs drains your energy.
      • Ex. Having a bunch of people in my home gives me emotional energy but drains my physical energy.
    • How can you protect your mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual energy? What practices and tools can you put in place?
    • Don’t pretend you have more energy than you do. How can you modify your normal energy budget to accommodate the changes caused by your holiday season?

    • Try shifting to a mindset of percentage based budgeting, especially if you have variable income.

  • Balance Effort & Ease
    Nov 26 2024

Send Kelly a text when you click here, or stop by Kellytibbitts.com

Starting from a place of recognizing that you are 100% valuable and 100% loved, it’s critical to acknowledge the balance required in our lives. There is a fine interplay between taking action and allowing rest. Expanding this concept beyond caring for our physical bodies can serve us emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

    Main points:

    • It takes intentionality to notice when effort is required and when we need to lean back and have a season (or moment) of ease
    • What are ten things you want to do in the next decade of your life that require effort?
    • Decide that effort means an opportunity to grow
    • Healthy growth won’t happen unless the effort is balanced with regular ease and rest

  • The Wisdom of The Four Agreements
    Nov 19 2024

Send Kelly a text when you click here, or stop by Kellytibbitts.com

On this week's episode, I share how I've been trying to apply the lessons from the book The Four Agreements to regulate my nervous system to stay in aligned energy.

As a way to remember the agreements, I am using four words integrity, immunity , knowing, and excellence.

    Main points:

    • Integrity - I like to think of integrity as a straight line - and on either side of it are the values that drive my decisions.
    • Immunity - don’t take things personally. Not taking anything personally for me looks like allowing the people in my life to think any thought, feel any feeling and do anything.
    • Knowing - There's a difference between knowing and assuming. How do we stop making assumptions? Stop to notice. Ask clarifying questions.
    • Excellence - Always do your best with the time & energy limits you have in each present moment. This can change dramatically and only you know what “your best” is from moment to moment, day to day.
      • Sometimes “doing your best” is literally laying down and simply breathing in and breathing out.
