A few interesting news stories in this episode! We are seeing new legislation being passed to help increase the number of hygienist and hygiene educators. Hopefully this will help those of us struggling to find qualified candidates to hire. JB is also shedding some light on the new Corporate Transparency Act that is impacting small dental businesses. If you are not familiar, you may want to look into it before the January deadline because not filing will come with some heavy monetary fines. Lastly we dive into the FDA involvement of a bacteria problem at the popular Tom's of Maine manufacturing plant.

We are touching on a hot news topic- fluoridation in our water systems. Political leaders are pushing to get the data from the last 50 years on whether or not we need fluoridation in our water systems. We are starting to see dentists weigh in with their opinions. JB also touches on a, perhaps, misleading article from USA Today about Dentists income.
