  • Episode 140: Temper Your Tornadoes and Navigate Your Inner Hurricanes
    Oct 15 2024
Sonia C. is feeling the need for moving energy, but rain is making it hard to enjoy a walk in Paris. Sabrina is feeling the change of seasons and the change of light. Sonia T. is rejuvenating herself with an early morning cup of coffee and a walk around the block. The recent hurricanes and tornadoes are affecting all of us, and what’s happening with your personal ups and downs deserve your attention too. Listening to your body’s limitations is the key to enjoying the best and hardest of days! This week’s theme is: Thrive as an empath without absorbing all of the negativity around you. Highlights: Listening to your body’s limitations will help you find energy again. [2:42] Choosing to self-select out of stressful conversations doesn’t mean you don’t care! [4:02] Empaths must observe without absorbing all that is around them. [5:57] Sonia C. chose not to immediately react when friends hurt her, which wasn’t easy to do. [7:15] The difference between personal and non-personal awareness response is key. [11:20] Sonia T.’s healing journey in Chile was met with Sonia C.’s love language – a clean house! [13:25] Your feelings and emotions are telling you what you truly value – listen to them! [20:30] Try writing a letter to express yourself and then throw that letter away. [22:20] Pause and let things unfold. You may be surprised at what happens next. [26:45] See it. Say it. Sort it. [29:45] Is this really your business? Not everything that’s happening around you is about you. [31:20] Be proud of yourself and how you are showing up! [38:29] Tool of the week. [40:07] Question of the week: As an empath, how can I be a beacon of light instead of a sponge of negative and fearful vibes? [45:02] The recent hurricanes have impacted all of us! Empaths especially have to be careful to observe what is happening around them without absorbing all of it, because not everything that is happening around you is yours to pick up! Make sure you have both a personal and non-personal awareness person in your corner to help you see things as they really are. You need a friend who can tell you when it’s time to send the email and when it’s time to walk away from the computer. Try zooming out and considering the comedy in the experience. Or pause and see how things play out. Or, as Sonia C. sees in London, quickly see it, say it, and sort it. Then move on! Empaths want to take on everything that is happening around them, but not everything is about you. Be careful about what you take on, and be proud of how your energy is impacting you and everyone around you. Tool of the Week: See it. Say it. Sort it! Question of the week: How can I be sure that I’m taking the course that is true to myself? • Episode 139: Fighting For Control? Just Give It Up!
    Oct 1 2024

Sonia C. isn’t going to let the rain put a damper on her spirit. Sonia T. has had one of those weeks – she’s been feeling the energy squeeze on social media and isn’t getting the immediate return she was hoping for. She’s trying to stay connected to her spirit instead of letting her barking dog go to stories. Maybe it’s just time for her to give it up and move on to better things.

This week’s theme is: If it’s just not working, it’s time to try something different.

    Highlights:

    • Extend compassion to yourself and save yourself from spiritual abuse. [2:25]

    • Just show up, even if that’s all you can do. [5:45]

    • Sonia C.’s experience with an angel rewarded her five years later. [7:20]

    • What’s the point? You’ll know when you pinpoint your why. [10:40]

    • Cruisin’ in California resulted in double meltdowns for mother and daughter! [13:00]

    • Sonia T. enjoys creating, and that is enough. [16:53]

    • Stop being critical and start being curious. [20:35]

    • Demanding control shoves the vibe right out of the room. [27:06]

    • Sonia C.’s experience with Oprah didn’t affect her after all. [30:00]

    • Sonia T. recalls a rainbows and butterflies moment of joy. [37:18]

    • Tool of the week. [40:44]

    • Question of the week: How can I be sure that I’m taking the course that is true to myself? [49:22]

Sometimes the road signs are telling you to keep going, and sometimes you need to see the sign that says detour! When nothing seems to be going your way, the universe just may be offering you an opportunity for redirection. Sonia C. and Sonia T. were cruising toward a California college but ended up in a corn field! Instead of fighting against the detour, they embraced it and ended up having an even better time than they had planned.

Stop being critical about what is going on around you and just start being curious. You don’t have to be in control at all times. When you can take out the emotion and the control and just show up, you’re making room for serendipity and spontaneity.

Tool of the Week: If it’s just not working, just give it up!

Question of the week: How can I be sure that I’m taking the course that is true to myself?

  • Episode 138: Finally Finding a Full Energy Match
    Sep 24 2024

Sonia C. is enjoying a change of pace in London! Sonia T. made it back to New Orleans where she is enjoying a fall fresh start – with its good vibes and energetic change in the air, fall feels more like a new year than New Year’s Day! Fall showcases the best that the year had to offer before a season of rest in an explosion of color and harvest. The vibes are high, but what do you do when your energy isn’t matched by everyone around you?

This week’s theme is: Be open to change, even when it’s uncomfortable.

    Highlights:

    • The world doesn’t feel as checked out as it used to be – maybe we’re all finally tuning into each other’s vibrations. [2:06]

    • You can have a full energy match if you keep your imagination open. [4:10]

    • Don’t try to talk yourself into high vibration when you know it's just not happening. [7:27]

    • What is your heart telling you to do next? [8:16]

    • Vibrations keep changing just like the seasons. [12:06]

    • Sonia T.’s experiences at Burning Man and yoga proved that unmatched energies change the overall vibe. So what do you do next? [16:24]

    • You can choose to change the vibe and make it work for you. Own it! [24:08]

    • Updating the vibe doesn’t mean you’re being judgemental. [28:36]

    • Experiment with who you are becoming! [30:05]

    • Tool of the week. [31:24]

    • Psychic YOUniversity starts this week! [37:46]

    • Question of the week: How can I be okay with friendships that phase out but stay true to myself as an empath who needs connection? [39:58]

There is an energy and vibration that is alive and buzzing around the world right now. It is shocking how many people are willing to stay stuck in energies that don’t match with at all – it sounds like being electrocuted! Whether it's in a negative job or relationship, negative energies suck way too much life to stick around for long. When Sonia C. was working as a flight attendant, she wanted so badly to have a full energy match with her work, but it just wasn’t going to happen. Ever since she insisted on full vibration, she has been so much happier.

Sometimes vibes just don’t match, like Sonia T. just experienced twice, and that’s okay! Own your experience and make it what you want to be. You don’t owe anyone an apology, you aren’t being a fraud, and you don’t have to stick with the new change if you don’t like it. Take time to consider who you are continually becoming just as the seasons are continually changing. Discomfort means growth – don’t be afraid to grow this week!

Tool of the Week: Experiment with who you are becoming.

Question of the week: How do you stop giving away your own spiritual power?

Found my people!

I have never been one to listen religiously or consistently to podcasts. I attempted once to listen to a famous actress and the best I got out of that was Laura Lynne Jackson. The rest was a bunch of advertisements and how much you should love the said person. No thank!

Love the realness, the truth, fun, laughter, and the permission to be yo self. As a therapist - I used to want to name my practice, “The Hokey Pokey!” Thank you for the lessons each day!

Love Sonia and her daughters!

These podcasts are so entertaining and uplifting! I feel my vibration rise as soon as I begin listening. The information is a great review for me as I've listened to many of Sonia's books. I truly connect with her and her belief system. All very positive and when I listen a second time I pick up new information.

So grateful for these ladies, Great advice & funny

I've been listening since the start of the podcast & look forward to each episode. I've read books by Sonia as well as the book her daughters co-wrote. Practical advice with hilarious antidotes always reminding us we are spiritual beings and we can trust ourselves. I always leave with a new catchy phrase that helps me in my life (ex. your barking dog is your ego intellect). Thank you, ladies!
