    Oct 15 2024
Steven 'Spillano' Spillane is an Australian pilgrim who has been a dear friend of mine for 30+ years. Spillano walked with me in May on my magical musical Camino. His job was to call "Buen Camino' in the second last chorus at the end of Somewhere Along the Way, and he performed his duty with gusto. A true gentleman. Pure class.

  • Dan previews his new album 'Pilgrim'
    Sep 30 2024
Dan's new album 'Pilgrim' is released worldwide Friday October 4. You can get your copy here 'Pilgrim' is Dan's second album, a follow-up to 2019's Duende (four weeks at #2 on the ARIA Country Chart). Pilgrim is an album of songs about the journey of life. Every life is a pilgrimage and every life has good days and bad days. This is a record of songs about lessons learned, of missteps believing better days are ahead. Ten songs of moody swirling melodies and hooks to catch your heart, refusing to let it free. It was produced by Dan Frizza (who's worked with Tones & I, The Whitlams, Gurrumul, Bernard Fanning, Amy Shark) in July 2024. Recorded at Brooklet Recording in the Byron Bay hinterland, it features Miles Thomas on drums, Brendan Clark on bass, George Washingmachine on violin and Oliver Thorpe on guitars - a world-class band of studio musicians who bring these songs to life through their incredible insight. Pilgrim takes you on a journey of belief and discovery you didn't know you needed, until now. One step at a time.
