• You have to BE it to SEE it: How I hit 7-figures in 12 months before hitting 7-figures in 12 months

    I am experiencing a shift, and this episode documents my reflections as I embrace and surrender to God's will and the new version of my life that He is building and creating with me.

    Internally, I am acting as a 7-figure CEO, and my business's operations run like those of a 7-figure company. I know that means that 7-figure revenue is going to follow.

    I need to surrender to my mountain moment to reach that next level. But as that realization gets clearer, I procrastinate because I am scared. I am scared of reaching the top and losing my relationship with the Holy Spirit. I am scared of my pride and the obstacles it may create for me. And I am scared of the inevitable valleys I will have to pull myself out of to get to the top of the next mountain God has planned for me.

    I am creating and building a new version of my life by surrendering to God and His will. I am so thankful that through all the challenges I went through this year, I also received the greatest blessing, which is hearing and understanding the voice of God.

    This is an emotional and vulnerable episode, and I am so grateful I can share my experiences with all of you as I get ready to climb that mountain.

    In today’s episode, I want to continue the conversation about America’s Collective Delusion. I share the four things you need to survive the next four years.

    But first, I cannot underscore enough the importance of getting a therapist and a coach. I don’t care what else is happening in the world; you need to find a coach and a therapist right now.

    In this season, so much harm is going to be done. It is going to take decades to undo the damage. But with these four things, you will survive, primarily through the doctor and coaching lens.

    1. Nothing will happen to you or your family without God’s permissive will.
    2. Do not isolate. Find community and lean into that support.
    3. Intellectual property is everything. It is the asset no one can take away from you and uncaps your earning potential.
    4. A high-ticket coaching offer is the leverage you need to scale your business.

    I dive into each of these essential factors and explain how I am applying them to my life and my business so you can get inspired to do the same. The next four years aren’t going to be easy. There are so many unknowns and so many things we won’t be able to control. But if you get these four things, you can thrive because you are creating your own sustainable ecosystem within an oppressive regime.

  • The Collective Delusion Of America Part 1: Preparing for What is to Come

    Now that I have had time to process my thoughts and emotions post-election, I wanted to start the conversation about dealing with the next four years.

    Right now, we are in a weird transition time where we feel a storm coming; we are anticipating the hurt and destruction but are stuck in limbo since it hasn’t hit yet. Since election day, I have cycled through all the stages of grief and am finally now in a place where I am ready to go back into service and control what I can control.

    America survives on hope. We live in a collective delusion to stay safe. But now that the country has decisively elected a criminal, rapist, and morally bankrupt President, that cycle of delusion is broken. The cards are all laid out on the table, and it is clear that America is deeply, deeply racist.

    That omittance has made me feel powerful. Now that the truth is no longer hiding behind our perpetual and collective delusion, it has validated everything I have thought and felt.

    Over the past week, I have experienced everything from guttural rage to profound sadness and unexpected joy, and I am choosing to allow myself to feel however I want without guilt. I give you permission and encourage you to do the same.

  • Where Do We Go From Here?

    Today, I want to discuss next steps now that the presidential election has passed. We are all struggling with various stages of grief, anger, and denial. So I pose this question: Where do we go from here?

    I am speaking to black women, specifically black women doctors, when I say the answer is go wherever you want to go and do whatever feels good.

    Jesus said that if you are doing it for the least of these, you are doing it for me. And one thing this election has shown us is the most disrespected, the most stepped on, and the most unappreciated people in this country and in this world are black women.

    So whatever you want to do, I encourage you to do. For some that might mean doing nothing, relaxing, and reflecting on where we are and what may come to pass. For others that might mean pouring yourself into those that God has put you on this Earth to serve. Whatever you decide, I want you to know that is okay. I support you and I am here for you.

    Take care of yourself. Take care of each other. Heads down, capes off, prayers up.

  • “A Tale of Two Launches”

    Today, I compare two of my recent launches: Audacious Women and IPMD. My process for launches has been the same for years. So why was one launch an incredible success while the other didn’t bring in any sales?

    Audacious Women was a great offer. My messaging was on point, and the launch was amazing. But I didn’t make a single sale. That failure brought me down, and I didn’t understand why.

    Fast-forward to the launch of IPMD, and I sold an offer within a few days. My results were drastically better, and my mindset was the differentiating factor.

    When we sell coaching, we tend to put the onus on the client. If they don’t buy an offer, it’s easy to say that they just weren’t ready, couldn’t afford it, or weren’t the right fit. But the truth is, they didn’t buy it because they didn’t feel safe.

    If you don’t properly build a bridge between your client and their transformation or if you don’t give them the confidence that transformation is possible, you failed. Not your client.
