    Bio

    Helen Rowe is the author of ‘Eliminating Poverty in Britain’ and trainer on The Biology of Poverty and The Biology of Child Poverty. She wrote the book as a stay-at-home parent. Prior to this she won a research award for her work at a housing association and was co-chair of The Connected Housing Initiative which campaigned for cheaper internet access for poorer sections of society. Before that, Helen spent nine years as a civil servant at The Foreign office, working on counter terrorism and chemical and biological weapons systems.
