Useful

As a parent of several girls and several boys with the oldest entering their midteens I found the information passed along useful. The author didn't bog you down with lots of technical jargon but did leave out references to the majority of her sources which is why I gave the 'story' 4 stars. She laid her information out in an easy to follow pattern but be warned this book is dated.

The author was also the narrator. While not horrible she was a monotone speed reader which is why I gave her performance a 3. These reasons along with segues which also showed how dated this production is.

With that said, this book, if nothing else, is a good stepping stone for all parents to begin one of the most important discussions they will hopefully continually have through out their children's lives which makes it worth the credit alone.

Thorough and Informative

Any additional comments?

This book presents great ideas for talking with your kids about "taboo topics." The fact is, kids are often left to their own devices when it comes to sex education and I believe it's important to properly educate them, even if it may seem uncomfortable. Must read for parents! Give it a shot.
