Dr. Kristine Keane is a leading neuropsychologist, speaker, and author whose expertise in brain function assists people in unlocking their potential, removing barriers to success, and living their best, intelligent life. Dr. Keane combines a unique blend of specialized skills as a sports neuropsychologist, clinical and forensic neuropsychologist, entrepreneur, speaker, soccer mom and testing expert with over twenty years of clinical health psychology experience. Dr. Keane is an expert on brain health, and has experience helping a wide range of individuals such as youth, college, professional and Olympic athletes, physicians, and business professionals recover from injury, achieve peak performance, and transform their lives in meaningful and lasting ways. Dr. Keane is the founder and President of Shore Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health private practices. She is one of the creators and Clinical Director of the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Concussion Program. Dr. Keane is currently an Associate Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University. She speaks on a variety of brain health topics to include concussion, sports psychology, and workplace performance. Dr. Kristine Keane earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology where she was named Outstanding Doctoral Clinical Student of the Year with specializations in Neuropsychology, Sports Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship at Rochester University Medicine and Dentistry program. She has a Masters degree in Behavioral Science and Bachelor’s degrees from Rutgers University in Psychology and English. Dr. Keane has participated in published research on the cognitive effects of repeated soccer heading. Her previous research has also investigated uses of personality assessment to determine clinical treatment outcomes, as well as the effect of exercise on mood and affective states. She volunteers her time with the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey as a member of the Youth Sports Concussion Committee as well as on the BIANJ Speakers Bureau. Dr. Keane lives on the Jersey Shore with her family. She is a proud soccer mom of three children.
