Prof. Dr. Kai-Markus Mueller, PhD Kai-Markus Mueller is a Professor of Consumer Behaviour at HFU Business School of Furtwangen University in Schwenningen, Germany. He serves as the Director of Pricing Research at the Dutch consumer neuroscience pioneers, Neurensics, and as the Chief of Behavioral Strategy at the Austrian hotel revenue innovators, RateBoard. Before his professorship, Kai founded a start-up and developed NeuroPricing™, a suite of neurotechnology-based methods to measure and model optimal pricing, which was later acquired by Neurensics. His prior experience includes working as a neurophysiologist for the US government and as a strategy consultant with an international management consultancy. Kai holds a PhD in neuroscience and is an accomplished author, keynote speaker with over 150 presentations, and has published more than 40 papers. His work has been featured in BBC, Forbes, Businessweek, ZDF, Der Spiegel, and many more.
