Kay Whiting-Harrison is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, business woman, avid skier, hiker and bicyclist, and - a suicide attempt survivor. Kay retired in 2016 from a career in hospital management and has twenty-five years experience in business marketing. She has been an active member of many community organizations and her church. Today Kay is a Certified Peer Support Specialist and is certified in Suicide Intervention, QPR, Mental Health First Aid and LEAP. Kay has dedicated her life to assist and support others who suffer. She and her husband, Lex speak openly about her mental illness and suicide attempt to groups, churches, individuals, and organizations. Kay is from Utah where she attended Weber State University and Brigham Young University. She met Lex while both were racing for the BYU ski team. They have four children and four grandchildren. They reside in Park City, Utah.
