I have read or listened to multiple JFK books and what I really liked was instead of just focusing on the assassination and conspiracies it went into more inside the heads of the Secret Service and made me kinda wish I had had that job. I also liked getting to know Jackie. it made me listen to the JFK Jr. book right afterwards. I may finally listen to a book on Jackie

How mature he was
Revisado: 03-19-25
I've always liked Buddy Holly & it was great getting to know a lot more about him like his control over his intellectual property, the fact he was writing so many songs for other people. I didn't know that he got married & it's so sad what happened after. it got kinda boring in the end talking about all the details. I rented the Buddy Holly Story & I'm going to watch it right now

Gold Dust Woman gives "the gold standard of rock biographers" (the Boston Globe) his ideal topic: Nicks' work and life are equally sexy and interesting, and Davis delves deeply into each, unearthing fresh details from new, intimate interviews and interpreting them to present a rich new portrait of the star. Just as Nicks (and Lindsay Buckingham) gave Fleetwood Mac the "shot of adrenaline" they needed to become real rock stars - according to Christine McVie - Gold Dust Woman is vibrant with stories and with a life lived large and hard.
