Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Making the Bible accessible!
This audiobook finds a way to make Bible stories applicable to teens today. So you can see the story of Moses and see how God can take somebody that maybe didn’t have all the skills and do great things. Or important topics like forgiveness and understanding what that means and how that can apply to your family and friends. Definitely a good guide to help teens understand how the Bible can be applied to their current situations!

A Perfect Devotional for Families with Teens!
I see this audiobook becoming an excellent go-to for family devotionals. It’s easy to listen to a short story during a meal and then have a meaningful table discussion. I love how the Biblical stories are respectfully retold and made relatable to the real challenges teens face today, for example, peer pressure and bullying. This is a creative and beautiful way to open up meaningful conversations with teens in a non-threatening, approachable way.
The narrator’s use of different voices, especially for characters like Jesus or a male or female character in the Bible story, adds to the appeal and keeps teens engaged. The scripture references are spot on and bring the stories to life while adding the essential element of scripture verses to the forefront. Each chapter could also inspire teens to journal for personal reflection, deepening their faith and possibly leading to further family discussions at a later designated time.
This is a fantastic tool for spiritual growth, not just for families but also for church youth groups. It’s a refreshing and much-needed resource for today’s teens and adaptable to different family needs. I highly recommend it!
