Publisher's summary

Messenger god Hermes' sandals have been stolen by a mortal, thus robbing all gods of their gift of teleportation. Zeus is furious, but this father's anger is not Hermes' only worry. Retrieving the sandals becomes a race against time as others are after the precious artifacts, too.

Hermes knows the identity of the thief: the lovely Greek studies professor, Penelope. Now not only does he have to get to his sandals first, but he has to do so before Penelope stealssomething else: his heart.

BOO HOO ONLY ONE BACHELOR GOD LEFT

I really look forward to these lighthearted fun romances about the naughty but handsome Greek Gods Triton, Dionysis, Hermes and Eros and the troubles they each find themselves in. Which are all either orchestrated, helped or hindered by their Fathers and Uncles Hades, Poseidon and Zeus.

This time Hermes, the Messenger God, has had his winged sandals stolen and he knows just who took them but not why she took them. He's a confirmed bachelor and, despite being warned by his Father Zeus, has no intention of settling down. Penny a naive, caring, beautiful Assistant Professor in Ancient Greek History and Mythology was swept away by Hermes' awesome good looks and the sizzling passion between them just couldn't be ignored.

However, she's intrigued by his winged sandals and 'borrows' them after a night of pleasure and fully intends to bring them back but things go from bad to worse..... because as Hermes is no longer in possession of them this means all Gods are grounded unable to teleport and Zeus is furious and stuck in Olympia. Thing get a lot worse, as other characters become involved in the plot with devastating results, they will have to go through Hell before Hermes and Penny can ever hope to have a HEA ending.

This is a bit of fluff, it isn't deep but it's got intrigue, betrayal, suspicion, laughter, sex, great characters, witty dialogue and a charming plot as the H/H have to work together to put things right. This could be a stand alone listen with just a couple of encounters and references from previous books.

Worth a credit? YES and I'm eagerly awaiting Eros' story which is the last of the bachelor Gods to find love and I will happily spend my credit but will be sad this easygoing series is ending.

Decent Story but my last in the series!

Silly fun with a touch of cra-cra! There was not much that qualifies as romance and it almost seems like they decided to settle at the end. I did enjoy the story overall but may stop reading the series from this point forward.
