A must listen book

Being an avid counselor to different walks of life when it comes to who I speak with this book is very encouraging to use towards my patients. Going through courses when I was getting my B.A. you touch on all these different types of therapies but, it’s great more detailed books like this are coming out. It not only helps to be a strong refresher for me but, to teach to my patients as well. Learning to be compassionate towards their own feelings and working through them is what can help to lessen the stressors their going through.

Very helpful book

I’ve been stressed out over my mother getting diagnosed with vertigo. Listening to this audiobook has been helpful with trying to get past the fact that there is nothing I can do to change it and not continuing to have high amounts of anxiety. I love my mother a lot and I have to do these different techniques to understand there is nothing wrong with my feelings and trying to get through them with positive reinforcement. It is not easy because I really don’t want my mother’s condition to worsen and the vomiting and dizziness spells are very scary in general.

Best book I've listened ever

My therapist has been trying to work with me on acceptance and commitment therapy. So, I went to try to find a bookon it and this one has been helpful in trying to help me reiterate the key goals the therapist has been reinforcing for me. This has not been an easy concept to grasp especially with the type of traumas I have faced but, the book really does help your mind to get into the concepts they are talking about. Living with the different kinds of traumas I’ve had and trying to be compassionate with myself is key to this therapy.
