About this listen

Paige wakes up, tied to a tree in the middle of a woodland, drugged and bruised. With no idea how long she’s been held captive, Paige must fight to survive. Paige and Leo work on a plan to escape their restraints and get free, but before they can, their captors return, and they must fight for their lives.

In the final part of the Oxpen’s Angel trilogy, Paige and Leo must put their investigation into the Angel Syndicate’s victims on hold, as they become the targets. Will they be able to escape, or will they meet the same fate as Ella Gold and Professor Hugh Eckland?

No one else in the genre of suspense thrillers and crime fiction comes close to the skillful way the author is able to portray plots and characters that take listeners to the edge of their seats...and keep them there. This is a gripping, spine-chilling story brimming with suspense and twists. If you loved The Girl on the Train or The Woman in the Window, then this dark, twisted, psychological thriller is guaranteed to have you spellbound!

Here’s what you can expect in the nail-biting final part of The Secret of the Oxpen’s Angel trilogy:

  • A fast-paced psychological thriller that will leave you guessing at every turn
  • Will Paige and Leo make it out alive?
  • Who can Paige trust? Could Arlene really be responsible for capturing her own son?
  • And so much more!

Brace yourself as you go on a nerve-wracking journey into the lies and secrets of an unassuming city, and be ready to catch your breath as you navigate every corner of each character’s intentions...whether pure or not. If you’re a fan of Gillian Flynn and SJ Watson, you’re going to love this book!

What I liked most about this book was the twists. They just kept coming, and just when I thought I had everything figured out, another curveball was thrown. The mystery surrounding.their captors and the layers of the Angel Syndicate’s operation added a gripping drama that never felt overdone.

A Satisfying Conclusion to the Series!

This third book wraps up the story really well. I found myself eager to see how all the loose ends would come together, and I wasn't disappointed. The suspense carried through to the very last page, and it was great to finally see everything unfold. If you've read the first two books, this one brings a fitting end to the journey. Definitely worth finishing the series!
