Narrator

Books 1-3 where great but halving a real hard time with 1-4 the narrator has change his voice its a just not manly enough for the character. Not to sound mean but listen for yourself before you purchase. I’m into it for a couple hours and realize I’ve not even been listening

One mans apocalyptic journey

From Cali to Tx, Commander continues to run into the same scenario, good vs bad men. He always takes the high road, after much deliberation, and helps. All while trying to get home to an exwife and two daughters. And in each scenario, there’s always a woman he ponders a relationship with. He’s still not gotten home so I’m sure there’s another book to this series. Not a constant action book, but not a bad listen.

Massively Disappointing!

The author ruined this story and the main character in this last book. The entire motivation for the protagonist to get back to his family is suddenly tossed out the window with the choices he makes, and yet the author decides it's not a big deal and keeps on the same path. Anything after this book will just feel like a lie. Wow what a stupid move, I followed along for 6 books with an investment of time and money to get to here and am sorely disappointed in the author. Anything after this last book will feel so insincere that I will not bother. it really bugs me when authors betray their readers like this by completely changing the personality of the main character after being so far along in the story. Mr. Nobody, bad form, I will no longer be following the commanders story for I dont know what kind of character he is anymore.

why did you switch?

the first 3 books were good and the narrator did a great job. he connived the feeling and thoughts of the characters great. now the next 3 books. still a great story, sometimes predictable but still good. the narrator? well that is a different story, why did you switch narrators? I could not stand listening to him. there was no feelings, no sense of character connect with this guy. the way he pronounce the last letter in every sentence was annoyinG.

DO NOT CHANGE NARRATORS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SERIES!

Anyone who changes narrators in the middle of a series should be punished! There is nothing in the Audible world that Angers me more than that. It ruins the entire story! Jack Nolan would have been just fine if he had done the first 3 books but after listening to over 12 hours of Michael Pauley, he is such a disappointment. Just so disappointing. Jack in Episode 4 sounds like a skinny jean wearing sissy compared to Michael Pauley's REAL MAN Jack. Just so disappointing. It ruins the entire thing.

Disappointed with this anemic sequel

The first three episodes were pretty decent. It's hard to tell whether this story would have been as good if they hadn't changed narrators. This new narrator reads like he is in a hurry, but talking through a mouth full of marbles.

Even without the difficulty of putting up with poor narration, this story is much less believable than the earlier trilogy.

2 Credits, 6 volumes, & an incomplete ending. PASS

The series wasn't bad but volume 6 ended abruptly.
I don't understand if the main character completed the main goal pointed throughout the 6 volumes. If I would have known the ending would appear to me incomplete.....I would have not made these purchases and found a more complete series to read. I feel cheated!!
If other volume come out that complete this storyline, I'd like to see them. If this does happen, and the storyline becomes complete I will likely revise my book review.
