A good book on critical thinking stratigies

I enjoyed reading/listening to this book, great examples on how to apply the suggested strategies, however a companion exercise file to test one's understanding of the strategies would add more value. I found myself wanting to take notes, but that would require "pause, recall what was recommended" then continue. Suggestions made are excellent, but if you really want to sharpen your critical thinking, I would suggest purchasing a hard copy or better still, a Kindle ebook so you can highlight and take notes to review later as you practice the critical thinking recommendations.

Not worth the time

Not worth your time. It’s just a common sense without any actual advices or strategies on critical thinking itself

Very poorly written

Nothing substantial is covered in this book. It comes across like a high school students final written assignment, and it was started the day before it was due. I still have no idea what they were actually trying to accomplish, however whatever it was could have been greatly improved by using some actual critical thinking during the process of planning and writing the book. It is extremely redundant, constantly repeating the same basic ideas and different versions of similar scenarios over and over again. If a high school student handed this to me, I’d give feedback about the value in concrete ideas and the importance of offering practical and realistic solutions to whatever problems the topic was covering. But I’m not a high school teacher, and this was supposedly written by adults. So I’m just going to tell you it’s terrible writing and horribly annoying to listen to, so spare yourself the wasted time.
