Just as awesome, if not more then the first book!

It builds on everything that the first book does and has, and concludes the first arch of the series. I can't wait for book 3 and to see where Dean takes the series!

GNOOOOOOOOOMES!!!!!!

Great series.

book one was amazing and this next installment does not disappoint. I especially love the little extra after the book where the author shows his passion for naval vessels by giving descriptions of the vessels the ships are named for and some of the ships histories.

I love this series!

This book takes the series to another level and expounds on the situation Slater finds himself in. We get a deeper look at some of the other characters and Daym that ending! I'm pumped for book 3! Awesome narration as always from Jack, I will listen to any book read by him.

Overall, its good, but...

*Minor spoilers, it has no impact on what happens in the book, its mainly about the jarring shift at the ending.*
So.. It seems the author was bored of the whole "War" theme and decided to do a "10 years later" bit and ended it.
The story up till then is pretty darn good, which is why its so odd that the author decides to end it with "Okay, all done with the war thing". It doesnt seem the series is over though.. So what? Is Slater the new bad guy? I donno, the series ends with a lot of lose endings. So who knows.. Guess we'll see.

Better than the first!

One of the most brilliant dungeon core ideas I have had the pleasure of listening to. Henegar has solidified himself as one of the most inventive writers out there. Voraces delivers a masterful narration. Don’t hesitate to get this book!

Definitely a recommended read

A cool spinoff of the dungeon core genre. The amount of research and the epilogue gives me a good view of the author. I think the “vs the council” saga could have lasted 1 more book or so, but the quick ending is good too before the same content starts to seem dry. Personally I’m not a fan of the memory loss genre so I do not know about the next book, I’ll see.

This was just as good as the first if not better!

I loved this book it was so much fun and I can't wait for more. Both Dean Henegar and Jack Voraces make this book unique and exhilarating. Dean is able to put an amazing amount of detail without it dragging on or a loss of focus and is able to keep the reader's attention and interest meanwhile Jack brings to life the characters while giving them their own individual personalities and simply put absolutely phenomenal book all the way around trust me you do want to read/ listen to this book.
