Publisher's summary

Prenuptial agreements explode many myths on the subject. Sam Margulies, expert and mediator of over 4,000 divorces, points out how prenups cause distrust in the beginning of a relationship and how most elements in a prenup are already settled in law. He suggests ways to get the same results in a cooperative manner. A must listen for anyone contemplating a prenup.

Very informative

Short and Concise. I got this book when my now husband and I negotiated our prenup. I should have listened to it prior so I could properly articulate how I felt about the whole thing.

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

Author repeatedly reaffirms his opinion that if you are interested in a prenup, you're immature, that something is wrong with your relationship to begin with, or your planning for failure. Spoken like a true divorce lawyer that makes more money when people argue over getting divorced. If you have car insurance, health insurance, home owner's or renter's insurance, then you believe in prenuptial agreements. If you have an ex- spouse and you've been taken advantage of in divorce, especially in "no fault" states, you definitely believe in prenuptial agreements. complete and total disappointment. I will be asking for $2 back because I cannot get the time back I spent listening to this excrement.

Misleading Title – Better Name: "Avoiding Prenups"

This is not a book for learning about prenuptials. It is a one-sided tirade against partners who seek prenups by a negotiator who tells stories about how he's gotten clients to fight against prenups in the past. A better title would be something along the lines of "How to Avoid Signing a Prenuptial: A Guide for Getting Rich through Marriage".
