Publisher's summary
Kayan has emerged from the Hoyon citadel repaired and refreshed, though she’s a bit cagey.
Why would she share what kind of upgrades the healing process bestowed upon her? Noah Gantz is just glad to be back in the action, seeking Seer secrets, a way to save two galaxies, and finding Kilis Dane Ryger before Celia and Ryg destroy Kayan to get their answers.
When Kayan’s crew learns Dane may have genetically modified Azok warships, they pursue the clues back to the Milky Way and Earth…
… and learn General Tate Collins had his day in court, and was acquitted of wrong doing. Where is the man now? Who knows but Noah’s nemesis may be in possession of a new, more deadly young Azok (or three).
Kayan’s crew face new challenges and complications, not the least of which is accidentally delivering a new alien race, the Jykeen, to a remote Pacific island. Will the first contact scenario give United Earth the tools to survive, or doom them. On the bright side, Noah’s big showdown with 98X and 12X will settle his problem with the Monitors one and for all.
Grab the latest novel in the Homeworld Lost series, because the fate of two galaxies just got the volume turned up to eleven.

Story
When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.

Story
From the halls of power in Washington to the vastness of space, the Guild moves closer to outright war as shifting alliances force everyone—including Van—to pick a side, take up arms, and fight. But there are ghosts out there in the black, and some of them carry secrets that Mark Tudor and Petyr Groshenko refused to reveal. In the expanse of his memory, Perry finds an ancient ship, and an even older war—and neither of those things have truly gone away.

Noth, humanity's greatest threat, has awoken and he's out for blood. So is Cole and his merry crew of misfits. They have the means to get it, too. Sort of. Their weapon might not be fully functional, but it just needs a power boost. How hard can it be? Pretty freaking hard, as it turns out. Especially when their enemies will do anything to stop them. When someone close to the crew is murdered and Cole is framed for the deed, things only get more complicated. Under the circumstances, that problem should be put on the backburner, but nothing is ever as it seems.

Military SFii not over done
So much of today's sifi is so saturated with military plot and jargon it's hard to find the story. This story has a fun fresh plot, compiling characters, and an ingredient missing from much of today's sifi: a sense of wonder and adventure!
