Publisher's summary

To repay a debt to an old friend, Breed vampire and former Hunter, Razor, has been drone surveilling a remote Colorado cabin for nearly a year, never imagining the beautiful woman he's become obsessed with from afar is anyone but his friend's lover, Laurel Townsend. When his mission turns urgent and Razor is tasked with retrieving Laurel from imminent danger, he arrives only to find the cabin destroyed and the woman inside brutally murdered. Vowing lethal justice against those responsible, Razor's hunt collides with free-spirited Willow Valcourt, Laurel's identical twin sister.

The last person Willow should trust is a lethal predator like Razor, yet he is all that stands between her and the powerful, hidden enemies who killed her twin. A cross-country chase and cryptic clues left behind by Laurel send Willow and Razor on a journey that will take them from the twins' tragic past to the threshold of an international scheme to wage a secret, final war on the Breed. Drawn together by survival, haunted by loss, and surrounded by peril at every turn, Willow and Razor have only each other to prevent catastrophe. Yet as Willow surrenders to the needs only Razor can satisfy in her, and Razor vows to safeguard the true mate he never expected to find, their newfound passion will be put to the ultimate test.

horrible narrator

narrator is a book reader. flat and non-expressive. story is good but you need a different narrator to make it better

glovd razor's story

I love razor and Willow's story. I think the reader was waiting anxiously since Razor was stalking visually a girl. love how Willow and Razor find and grow together. I love that The Order and Knox make an appearance. I kinda missed the order. worth the listen and hope Lara Adrian continues this series

Great story!

Once again, Laura Adrian gives us a love story for another Breed male vampire. His name is Razor and he was born in a laboratory and trained to fight and kill. This is the love story of how he was fortunate enough to meet a woman who bore the breed mate birthmark. A great read, I enjoyed the audio also, don’t miss it!

Storyline needed more action and romance. The story moves slow. But overall, a good read/Listen! Audible edition was good not excellent!

Terrible narrator

Of course the book itself was amazing. However the narrator sounded like he wanted to sleep through the whole thing. No inflection at all!

Hmmm...

I'm not sure. I think this new spinoff series needs something. It's not bad, it's just not as good as the original or even the first spinoff. Maybe it's not having a common thread or enemy to defeat? Not sure. I may end up editing this after I reread the first three books.

Also, if Stephen Borne is going to do any more of these, maybe explain that "my father was Atlantean" meant her father was from Atlantis. That pronunciation was wild. It was like he read it and thought "made up planet, let me just wing it." If I hadn't read any of the other books, I'd have been baffled. *stomps around whining about why anyone would stop using Hillary Huber when she was so freaking good at this series*

If you haven't read any of the other Midnight Breed novels, you are really missing out. Go back to the beginning and work your way through the series. Absolutely excellent. One of the best paranormal series I've ever read.

should of could of.....

Could have been better! I was excited for the 4th book in this series. I did notice it was a different narrator then Roger Wayne, but I still had high hopes but was very disappointed. I didn't finish this book. I'm sure the narrator is just as good, but changing them during a series makes me lose interest making for an overall bad experience even though I loved the 1st three books. This isn't the first time I've come across this situation. I know somethings are out of the author control for onereason or another.

Finding home

Great way to end the series. This book lift a Cliffhanger for the next individuals in the Breed seris.

Poor Narration

I probably should have read the book instead of listening to it. The narrator has a beautiful voice but did not do justice to the story. I really wanted to like their story but couldn’t get invested.

Lara Did It Again!!

This was another great book by Lara Adrian. I’m not sure why they chose not to use Hilary Huber for narration. She is brilliant and you feel like you are in the story she’s telling. I’m not understanding why narrator for this one didn’t do his research before taking on this book. Stephen’s pronunciation was so completely off on so many things. ATLANTEAN as in from Atlantis … his pronunciation was terrible.. another was Tāvia Chase. His narration was very disappointing.
