Much needed book!
This audiobook is a deep dive into fixing the stuff from your past that's messing with you today. It's like having a heart-to-heart with that little version of you that got hurt way back when. The book's got 15 exercises that are all about helping you deal with old wounds, setting up boundaries so people don't walk all over you, and getting on board the self-love train. Helpful info and good exercises
I've heard a lot of the "inner child", but didn't totally get it. I thought this book did a good job of explaining what the inner child really is. And I like how it gave a lot of practical and helpful exercises to use. I didn't know what to expect, but thought I'd give one a try. I actually felt really good after. I felt calm and a little bit of a sense of relief.

I loved the narrator’s voice! It’s very soothing and very appropriate for someone needing to heal from any child good traumas.
I like how it breaks down the process of traumas people went through and how it affects them later in life.
Also, I love the practical exercises it offers. Very good!

Wonderful guide to healing
We don't come out of childhood unscathed, and this book gives you the tools you need to help heal those wounds. The author does a great job of helping you identify old wounds along with giving you practical steps to work on healing them. Forgiving and moving forward
The author of this book really breaks down how to heal your inner child, step by step. While listening, I realized I had some stuff from my past that I hadn't fully dealt with. The exercises have opened my eyes to the fact that I've been carrying around old baggage that I needed to drop. Doing that work brought a sense of strength and freedom I hadn't felt before.
Back in high school, I went through something pretty tough, and diving into this book made me see how much that event still affects me as an adult, kind of casting a shadow over parts of my life. The author guides you through it all really well, making sure you're ready before moving on to the next part. One key takeaway for me is that our past traumas don't have to define us. We get to choose what we do next.
I'm really thankful for how the author put this book together. They cover a lot of ground on different kinds of trauma without making you feel worse about it. It's written with a lot of care and understanding, which makes a big difference when you're working through tough stuff.
