About this listen

This is my account of life as a hitman from someone who has been doing it for years.

Hitmen commit heinous crimes virtually every day of the week and, in most instances, we don't even realise.

I've been a killer for hire for more than 20 years now, but life as a fulltime professional assassin has never been easy.

There have been close calls, failed attempts and a lot of looking over my shoulder.

And now, I've decided to come clean and seek atonement for my life as a murderer and one of the most covertly dangerous men alive.

This is an account of a life lived between our world and a shadowy underworld of criminals...a life lived under the radar of the law...a life lived in death.

This is the story of my life as a hitman.

Good story with a few logical issues

Literally good story, there are only few unlogical issues. Compilation of psychology and a detective with one goal to show everyone deserves for retribution.

Super interesting!

Very interesting book. The author takes you along with him on his story of becoming a hitman. From his childhood, to contract killings, to the end of his career as a hitman, this book covers his story.

Fact or Fiction? Still a great listen!

Obviously there is no way to fact check a story like this so you either believe it or you don't. Either way, it was still highly entertaining and will make a great movie some day.

Work of Fiction NOT fact

While the anonymous author did a good job of writing a basic story of a hit man as a 20+ year LE enforcement investigator I found one glaring error gave the book away as fiction. That error is that the books hitman brings the same .22 pistol to all his jobs across the globe. Even within the time period of the book it would not be possible to bring the same pistol from location to location, on planes and through customs across the globe. Had he got a new pistol at these locations it would have been possibly believed. There is a book that was somewhat famous for a time called the Hitman’s Guide to the Independent Contractor which was a guide to prospective hitmen. That book was actually written by a housewife not a hitman. I believe this book is of the same. A work of fiction not to be believed.

great book horrible narrator

the good story is ruined by the horrible vocal fry bass voice narrator. like razor blades to my ears. I really can't figure out why anybody, audible or an author, chooses grating voices like this. he sounds like a really bad overdone impersonation of Morgan Freeman. shame

you ruined the reality of the story when you claimed ammonium nitrate to be an effective explosive.

There were many discrepancies that completely ruined the validity of the book, with a bit more research it could've seemed more realistic. half way through the story you ruined it with laziness.

Meh

Unimaginative and difficult to listen to. Skip this one. Not worth the money at all.
